Public Works Projects DLC?

Jake and some others have mentioned this in the IRC in the past but I think a thread on it would be interesting. The hope was that we could get new Public Works Projects downloaded through SpotPass much like the monthly items that Japan has been receiving. The items are great but actual projects would be so much more extensive.

Now, it's pretty unlikely this will actually happen, but if it were to happen... What would you want Nintendo to add? Your personal wish list of future Public Works Projects I suppose! I'll contribute my own a bit later.

3ds bench, maybe some kind of outdoor gargoyle/tombstone for halloween, the whole outdoor furniture range namely the kiddy pool.

I have no idea what's already in game besides bridges and a few decorative items so if something's in the game already, feel free to make my day and point it out to me! xD

-More decorative flower things! Like poles or things with morning glories growing off of them!

-A cute sign item you can put up that would only take up 1x1 space on the map but prevent villagers from putting their houses within a larger area of the item. That way the player could section an area off and devote it to flowers and trees without having to worry about villagers dropping a house on it.

-A big wind chime item that jingles when you walk close to it! Can be of multiple designs to appeal to a lot of people.

-The Thing that Goes Doink

-A statue of our character. Made of stone. Gaudy gold/silver/bronze are not welcome! We deserve to have a statue. WE MAKE THIS TOWN WHAT IT IS.

-A decorative pinwheel type item with multiple designs that just spins in the breeze~

Only four? Awww... my friend is going to be really disappointed by this. From the screenshots I saw, I thought 6 flowers could fit.

I'd like the idea of an old-fashioned windmill, personally. Not a wind turbine, but a windmill. Oh, or mill with a water-wheel on the side! That would be kinda cool.

New forms of buildings? Id like to have more than fairytale, japanese and modern.

- Beach chairs, and beach umbrellas that you can only place on the beach

- being able to have another camper tent (not the tent you start with, but an actual villager tent)

Some sort of public works project that will let you go somewhere else. Kinda like the island, but other places. In Harvest Moon A New Beginning there's a travel agency that you can unlock that lets you go several different places. It'd be neat if AC let you do that. Similar to the island, each place could maybe have different activities you can do and certain animals that only live in those places.

Again, this is stealing an idea from HM, but there could be an arctic place where you could go ice fishing and talk to polar bear and penguin animals that don't ever move in your town and only live in that arctic place. Maybe they could have exclusive stuff you can only get there, like a big arctic weather winter coat to wear or snow shoes for your feet. And maybe if you do something special it could unlock other things for your town, like the ability to make your house look like an igloo on the outside.

Some things that you can put on the beach would be nice or a giant boo statue (I can dream).

Well, I would like the town decorations that were featured in Dobutsu no Mori e+ which are not in New Neaf like the mushroom.

Other items that would be interesting would be a Link statue like the one seen in Oracle of Ages.

Seasonal things, like a Christmas tree at Christmas or a giant friggin' pumpkin for Halloween (biased here, obviously).

Things related to landmarks in your home country. Like, scale models of famous skyscrapers or bridges.

Maybe a big giant holiday/Christmas tree.
