You can apparently only use their new service on Harvey's Island, and not on the Mystery Tour islands, as many of us would expect - I had actually assumed that this is what the entire service was for, being able to send things back on the Mystery Islands if you've got a full inventory and don't want to have to travel all the way back, but apparently not. I am actually really disappointed - what use is it for Harvey's Island? :(

Just to add the source, I found this out from Crossing Channel's latest video on his channel.

Wow, I found this post just as I was on a Mystery Island and was considering using the Liquid/Storage option but nevermind. Thanks for the info.

I guess after the wedding event ends there'll be more events like it and that's what it's for?

When you use the go services Dose the item show up right away at home store or show up the next day?

but why would they have it for harvey’s island only and not for the mystery tours,, that decision makes no sense to me lmao

Yeah, I discovered that lately and as someone said before - it really looks like some kind of bug. You would have to fill your inventory on purpose to need that option, really!

I agree with everyone that it makes zero sense.

However—did we really expect Nintendo to improve our chances of making profit from Mystery Islands? They seem determined to make visiting them as pointless and unrewarding as possible. If they allow us to exceed our inventory they’d probably lower the tarantula/scorpion/shark rates even further. God forbid we made too many Bells from playing the game as intended.

It's .. so pointless because you only get one item a day from Reese, you can't even complete a full 30 stack of hearts in one day, and Cyrus mails you things, so uh. ??

Well if it was available on mystery islands you could effectively make an infinite amount of bells, which is something Nintendo has shown to avoid so

They probably did it because of people in playtesting having a full inventory and needing to do something with what Reese gives you.

It is really dumb though. If they bothered to do this, make it work with the mystery islands too.

I mean, I'd imagine it would have been easier to have Reese mail the item than like. Making an entirely new system tho.......
Nintendo for you, ig.

why would they add a feature like this and not add it to the mystery islands where it would actually be useful? Nintendo what is you doing, hun?

Definitely strange, but I think this is setting up for something in the future because right now it's kinda useless

But.. there is nothing you can take from Harvey's island. O_o

I'm so mad lol i wasted a nook miles ticket all eager and excited to try it out on a mystery island. Lots of lazy journalism 'games news' sites reporting that it's for the mystery islands too, apparently without fact checking. Why on God's green earth would they make a new service that is only helpful in one, specific, unlikely situation, and then write Wilbur's speech so that it's COMPLETELY unclear thats the case? Were players really supposed to read that whole spiel and somehow understand that Wilbur meant only on this single island he is standing on right now?

It *seems* like a bug at first glance... I mean, how hard would it be to write "Dodo Airlines is now offering new services while visiting Harv's Island" instead of just "is now offering new services", if thats all it was intended for? Or how much easier would it be to make them just mail the items back when your inventory's full, rather than make a new Dodo service? But since Nintendo really does seem bent on making the mystery islands as worthless and boring as possible, I'm not surprised at the scenario it really is just for Harv's.

Disappointed, but not surprised.
