Pros and cons of new leaf?

Just a friendly discussion about things ya liked/disliked about New leaf

Honestly, I didn't like the fact that they tried to make furniture items that aren't normally rare, rare. Like the cabana series. Are you seriously telling me I have to make a daily trip to the island to see if they have it or not whereas in the GameCube version I could just buy it at the store? It's not like New leaf is the only one to do this. City folk is pretty guilty of this too. They also made the holiday furniture available at the store? Wtf?


Buuuuuut I do like being able to change more of my characters appearance. Changing how the exterior of your house looks along with the look of the furniture is also a nice touch. The new villagers and personalities are super adorable.
And I love it when they just visit you at random to drop off a gift. How cute is that?

I hate how useless all bug-offs are.. Go to the island, get a singular bug, you'll probably get 1st place. This includes Fishing tournament.

I love how the character is taller, almost matching/matching the villagers size. I didn't feel right while I was way shorter than all my animals... waaah...

I liked when I could choose where the villagers moved in But now they just LOVE to ruin my paths and flower beds!

To be honest, I really don't like ACNL music. I have the AC gamecube soundtrack saved, and it always calms me. But the NL soundtrack is sort of....I don't know how to put it. That's just the hourly music though. KK's songs are actually pretty great in this one

Otherwise, I enjoy the new game a lot, except for the villager's personalities. I think each individual could do with their own separate quirks.

I really hate.....

The grass erosion.
Not enough pattern space.
Not having the power to put villager houses where i want them.( without villager reset )
That oversized firepit (pwp) that looks more like a giant bonfire.
The fact that i can only have 4 manniquins.I would like an endless supply.
I can't have a pink princess cone hat.
That Luna can change my dream code.

That we can buy or trade for rare items.
That cute little cosmo fan from the weed set.
The creepy set.
My mayor can be a witch, a honey bee, Little Bo peep, or anything else i want to be.
