Problematic Citizens

So, I know that in town hall you have the option to complain to Isabelle about some of the villagers' behavior. What actually happens when you go through a whole complaint? Does the villager get kicked out of town? Do they say something to you? Do they just apologize? I've always wondered this...

The problem is just taken care of. So if the problem is clothes, they change into a gym shirt. If the problem is speech, they start saying something else. And if the problem is letters, I think it just takes away their letter. (haven't tried that one) The villager never mentions it; I think it's just a way to ensure animals with lewd things don't migrate over to your game and you can't do anything about it.

Reminds me of the time when I spent days complaining about Biskit cuz I wanted him to move out so bad. (his house was in a really bad spot D: I couldn't build a bridge cuz of his house)

anyw... I complained to Isabelle like everyday, about his clothes, naughty letter, and language... tho none of them was true. haha and nothing ever happened xD oh I feel sorry for Biskit now... he was a good villager and I was intentionally being mean to him... >.<

I did this one with a couple of my villagers and was able to replace crappy first letters I sent to them at the start of the game that I didn't know they would cling onto forever I sent more presentable letters to them right after choosing this option and they started showing those off instead.

I know you can send them shirts in the mail and they will wear them. It usually takes about 1-5 letters for them to start wearing the shirt.
