i've been using the , make a new character to choose where a villager moves trick and it has worked fine before. right now, i am trying it and mira moves it but i chose to change her location so i reset and tried again twice. there have been people in the campsite each time i have tried but i haven't found another plot? did i lose mira or should i continue reseting?

problem with villager reset trick

Did you invite Mira to move in from other town or from a campsite?
Or are you under 9 villagers and she was a random move in?? If she was a random move in and you quit w/o saving, you probbly lost her...
If you do not have ANY Uchi villagers in your town, You might keep getting Uchi villagers tho so there's a chance Mira's plot will show up again. (That's how I got Diana; I went down to 8 villagers without any snooty villagers and I kept getting Snooty villagers when I tried reset trick. Tho I was hoping to get Willow I settled with Diana)
If it was expected move in, (you asked her to move in) I don't think you can lose someone while plot resetting... Did you look everywhere for her house plot??

Do you have one of each personalities or are you completely missing Uchi or other type of personalities?
Like I said above, if you are missing certain type of personality in your town, new random move in villager will be likely to have that personality.
Right now, you can keep resetting until you see a new plot or see a camper that you like... Villagers moving in on their own and campers are completely random..; some days you are more likely to have campers in campsite than other days too.
Some days, plots dont appear 100% of the time.
If you dont see a plot. (Make sure to check every corner), save with the new char and then delete him
Change the date to the next day and make a new char and see if her plots there.
You may have to keep doing this, i had to do this for 5 days until a plot appear 100% of the time.

Yes. It depends on the # of day after your ninth villager had moved out. You'll receive a new plot sometime between 2 and 5 days I believe. It's only 100% guaranteed at day 5. Another option is to set your 3DS forward a few days and then do this trick, as you'll have a higher chance of a new plot.
