Problem with people vising my town

Hello, i have had this problem for quite a while now..

I can visit anyone, but none can visit my town, everytime it says that there is an error. Why is it doing that? I have tried everything; i even put the 3DS right next to my internet source and it still didnt work. My net works perfectly except this problem and i'm running out of ideas, please help!

Some people have said that it works, but I've never had this issue so I wouldn't know from personal experience. From what I've seen on the web it's an acnl problem.

These are the steps to finding out your IP:
1. Select the Start button located in the bottom left corner.
2. Type Run into the Start Menu search and press Enter. (If no search is present, a “Run” option should be present instead.)
3. Type CMD and press Enter.
4. Type ipconfig/all and press Enter.
5. Your network’s IP information should now be displayed in a list. Scroll through the list to find the following settings:
*IPv4 Address or IP Address
*Subnet Mask
*Default Gateway
*DNS Servers

- - - Post Merge - - -

For your Router's IP address you're going to want the Default Gateway.

It's okay.

In the bottom right of your computer there should be a wireless button. Press it. Whatever network you are connected to is your SSID.

That's your password to connect to the internet. If you don't know it, you may need to ask someone in your house.

I got the password but it still does not work. It keeps saying that something is different, either the password or the security. I have tried the same for every single security section.

Hmmmm...are you still trying to figure out the IP address or is this to get to the router settings?
