Problem with Able sisters shop

New to ACNH and I have spent a lot of on clothes, not unlike in real life

when I buy a bunch of clothes they don’t show up in the mail, are not in my storage or my wardrobes. Where are the clothes I bought?

They should be in your storage... that's really bizarre. What does Mabel say to you when you finish buying an item? Usually she'll say she's shipping the clothes directly to your storage (unless you're on a different user's island, in which case they go into your pockets).

She’s says she’s sent them to my storage. Bought the cutest cowboy boots yesterday- hey, I’m a Texan. I even kept going into the changing room so I could get them in every color but I never received any of them.

They should be in your storage but I noticed that when I buy items outside the changing room (i.e. the stuff on display or on mannequins) that the items go into my pocket instead. Either way though the items should show up when you access a dresser/changing room to change!
