probably an obvious answer to this, but i'm confused

okay, so i have hugh leaving my town today. he's a lazy villager. including him, i have 10 villagers in my town, and he's the only lazy one, so once he leaves, i won't have any. as far as i'm aware of, the game won't generate any more villagers to move into your town once you have 9, BUT i also thought that you must have at least one of every personality in your town at one time.

so is the game going to generate a lazy villager for me once hugh leaves, or will it be okay not having a lazy villager?

You aren't required to have one of each personality. You will not have a lazy villager forced on you.

I checked my villagers and I don't have every personality type - so I don't think it is a requirement to have at least one of each

Nope! There was someone on here who had almost a whole town of Peppy Villagers- 7/10 I think! No requirement

Even though you don't have to have all the personalities, it bothers me when I don't have them all. I got a third cranky instead of getting a lazy to balance out my town..

I went for a long time without a cranky or a snooty in my town. Now I have two snooties and a cranky, making my town nice and even with at least one of each. I like it that way because it makes me feel more balanced out when my town is balanced.

The game only forces you to have one of each personality at the start of the game, you know, you get the first villagers and the next ones to move will be those of the personalities you don't have. After that it's pretty much whatever wanna move to your town

I have every male personality and only Normal and Peppy from females so yeah @_@ I wish I had the other ones (PWP!) but then again, I have my dreamies so yeah :c
