Hi, recently I've been thinking about selling my old Nintendo Wii and games mainly because I rarely use them. The only thing is I don't know whether to trade them in at my local game store or sell them on eBay, so could you guys help me a little bit?

I am hoping to sell:
1x White Wii console (European)
2x Wii remotes
1x Nunchuck
1x Motion plus add on
2x GameCube memory cards
1x GameCube controller

And the games:
Avatar the last airbender (Movie version)
Harry potter and the order of the Phoenix
Harry potter and the half blood Prince
Lego Star wars the complete saga
Wii Play
Wii sports resort
Dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 2
Super Mario galaxy
Legend of Zelda Twilight princess (Wii version)
Another code r
Pokemon battle revolution
Star wars force unleashed
De blob
Animal Crossing Lets go to the city
Animal Crossing population growing (American version, didn't work on Euro Wii)

Obviously I was hoping to sell the Wii and all accessories with Wii sports resort and Wii Play, but what other games could I bundle with it to gain more money on eBay? And how much should I even consider selling these for? Again one of the memory cards would have to be sold with AC:PG.

I live in the UK so prices in GBP would help :)

I'll take the Dragonball Z game. Jk. No money :c

Anyways, I'm no expert and defintley (cant spell today) no help but sell on ebay if you actually wanna make a profit.

My advice would be to do a little research. Go onto sites like Play, Amazon and Ebay, and see what other people are putting prices down at.
You have to remember though that the Wii is old now, people wont want to be paying full price for these.
The issue of both sides of selling would be, if online... it's not going to be an instant sale, may take some time to get people to buy them.
Game store, probably not going to get a lot of money. Or at least not what you would of hoped. It would be money right to you, but they tend to offer more in-store credit than real money.

However, I would say to keep them. You may not be playing them now, there be a time that you really want to play something and you no longer have it.

True, I'll do a bit more research first, but I'm definitely going to sell AC:PG as it does not work on my Wii but I'll advertise that it is an Ameican version and I may sell a few other games. Knowing what would happen I'd somehow sell it all but during the summer I'd want to play one of those games! Thanks.

(Thread lock maybe?)

I use this website. Just click on which system, and then look for the game. It shows the currents average price for each game, both used and new prices. You can also go to "compare" to see what others have paid on sites like amazon and eBay for the game you're looking for.

Remember, it's usually really hard to sell a Wii.
I tried selling mine a while back and my brother decided it was a good idea to trade it for an old (the first) DS...
gahhhhhhhh so much wasted money
