Anyone know what they're getting on Christmas? I'm extremely good at guessing mine every year, I'm always right. (And no I don't just look for them before they're wrapped, I just use clues my parents accidentally give me, and I just put 2 and 2 together)

my prediction this year is a big mess of PS2/GCN (mostly PS2) games.

To be exact...

THUG
VF4
PoP: SoT
Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2
Tekken 5
Soul Calibur III

Im totally clueless about what I'm getting from my siblings though...

What do you think you're getting?

So did you make these predictions before, or after you handed them a list of everything you'd want?

I mean you can only assume they'd give you everything you could want if you do like they ask and follow your brother around 24/7 to keep him from expressing any form of affection.

Nice predictions.

well it usually goes like this...

I heard my mom on the phone with gamestop asking if they had THUG and VF4

When I mentioned one of those games to them saying that it seemed like a good game, one of them would make a very quiet "yes!" or something, they aren't the best at keeping a straight face xD

stuff like that. Obvious mistakes that make it too easy lol

a couple years ago, who knows why, but my mom left the receipt for what she got me on the counter in the kitchen xD

I almost got my Christmas shopping done. Bought a TON of CDs for my mom, some N64 games for my bro, a doll for my sis, and going to buy some accordion music for my dad.

As for what I'm getting... Phoenix Wright 3, and some books. That's all I know... oh yeah, and a flamenco CD... Chicuelo's newest album. I can't wait!

:)

My dad and I bought my mom a iPod for Christmas.

:P And I bought her a $20 iTunes gift card on top of it. =)

8GB nano, turquoise.

Anyways, I have no idea what I'm getting. o.O

(you edited out my edit Bul, lul.)

Old or the new one? I'm assuming it's the new one. <3

NEW ONE. =D

teh fat pod.

Haha, oh man, you guys fell for that scheme? The new iPods are SUCH rip-offs... well, except one. The classic one. 80 gig or 160 gig... the 80 gig costs $20 more than the 8 gig nano.

Haha.

I didn't buy it and I don't plan to. I'm fine with my 4 gig Nano right now. The new Nano just looks so awesome. <3

50 bucks. Haha. OK... let's do the math.

whatever the new nano costs = 8 gig
same + $50 = 80 gig

You are getting an extra 72 gigs for an extra $50. It's downright stupid not to buy an iPod Classic.

No, it's not. Maybe you don't need that much, why waste money on buying space you don't need? Which is the case here, but otherwise I agree with you.

Do you know how much space movies/videos take up? With 8 gigs, it'll be full in no time. And if you're gonna say, "I'm not using it for movies", then why buy the new Nano? After all, its biggest draw is the movie functionality... which the Classic has.

Using the space or not, admit it -- it's ALWAYS nice to have a lot of space. When I bought an iPod, I never thought I'd even end up using 4 gigs. I'm using 25 gigs on my iPod right now.

Trust me, in a few months, that 8 gig Nano will be full... if your mom is an avid music lover, of course. I've got 2000 songs and a few movies, along with the entire Neon Genesis Evangelion series + a ton of Simpsons episodes on mine, so... yeah.

Also, to the topic poster, I forgot to say one thing... for Christmas, I'm not getting any presents. The presents I listed, I'm getting for New Year's Eve. Personally, I think it's an insult to Christ to receive presents and make that the focus of the holiday, so that's the main reason why I refrain from receiving/giving presents on Christmas.

New Year, however, is a holiday specifically made for Santa Claus and all that. Santa Claus originally came to kids on New Year's Eve, y'know.

That would be true, but the Nano's are a bit more sexy, too.

And I'll never have a need to have all 7.11 gigs of my music at once, but I do anyways.

They are. I forgot to mention that... Classics are... black and silver and fat. D:
