That’s how I feel about cooking and more edible (as well as furniture) food being introduced (gimme strawberries, guavas, carrots, wheat, corn, rice and would like some meat sources too). I need some beverages to be able to interact with and decorate with as well, so here’s hoping the Brewster update will bring us a lot of surprises. It’s not fair that my villagers get to drink pop and juice and all I can interact with are my fruit.

Definitely fireworks. Another Nooks Cranny upgrade would be nice, along with the Dream Suite. Both my mom and I are still waiting for Brewsters though...

I think the dream suite is confirmed by dataminers but who knows? I can see it being done as its own island like the photo studio is.

I do think farming is coming, just not sure about this update.

Kicks and Lief consolidating into an upgraded shop would leave room for new types of visitors that they can add in rolling updates. I don't see Katrina and Gracie not making a return for example. Katie could come as a gulliver-like visitor with a new set of items considering they've already substituted him for pirate stuff.

My unexpected meme-worthy guess is that they will bring Dr. Shrunk back only this time he teaches new dances instead of emotions. Will maybe coincide with the return of DJ KK somehow.

They will continue to hold Brewster and the cafe from us. Brewster will probably come with more mechanics than we expect and come after the farming update, potentially implementing cooking and the roost being a restaurant is my tinfoil theory.

Do you guys think a brand new character will come with a new feature at some point?

I think mostly because of the appeal of the coffee shop. The aesthetic of holding a cute little virtual coffee cup or having a little cafe on your island is very appealing. Plus, Brewster's return would hopefully bring back gyroids too since he has an affinity for them.

'd LOVE to see Brewster, but I imagine that's a more autumn-y update. I'd also love to see Kapp'n and maybe even island tour mini-games return but... I'm not getting my hopes up for something THAT big

THIS UGHHH. seriously, I NEED white fences. I cant stand having my unpainted picket fence ruining the aesthetic lol. it was literally in the trailer. I am really hoping they don't forget to add this in because clearly it was an oversight if they showed it off in the trailer. I want to be able to color the iron fences too.

also. I agree about Brewster honestly. I feel like the turn of the new season will bring him as well as the gyroids. I'd love to be wrong though, I'm really hoping for his return soon.

i think the empty space on the left side of the airport will be turned into a little letter sending area that rotates pelly and phylis. the fireworks, to me, doesn’t make sense because we’ve already had fourth of july (though it is an american holiday) and it would make sense to do that update closer to the new year.

the farming that dataminers have found sounds really cool, but somewhere deep inside feels really skeptical that it’s really going to happen. it doesn’t seem animal crossing-esque. but, if it going to happen, this fall seems like a good time to do so. pumpkins! *jazz hands*

I'm a little wary about farming too. that'd be super new and different from the usual animal crossing stuff. it'd be cute though for sure. the closest we ever got to that was that little thanksgiving event with the turkey and the ingredients. so I agree that I think it'd be more of a autumn/November thing.

I'm hoping we get Brewster's Cafe next; I need coffee to warm up after getting hyperthermia in winter ocean.
I need a new shop for my main street area, so if it's not the cafe I'd love if we got the Alpacas back selling more furniture types/ and maybe they'll let us customise fence colours and things too.
Leif would be great as a permi shop too, imagine a little greenhose to put in amoungst your orchard.

Maybe Leif will let you store the plants too. I really really need some way to stack or store the plants I dig up, because I really hate breeding flowers and having to have them ALL out at the same time. Maybe if Leif came back he'd offer a little greenhouse service where you could store flowers away in his area! I like to change out my flower color schemes based on time of year so it'd really come in handy if that were the case.

I remember trying to find the drink DIY in my list, I was so sure he would have given it to me. He is clearly running some dodgy juice scheme behind our backs.
