Pre owned towns

I just bought me another New Leaf town, but this time it was a pre owned copy..and it still has a town on it! It's pretty much decorated and everything. Even the guy's house is huge.
I'll post pictures of it later.

Have anyone ever bought a use game with a town still on it?

I never have, but the next copy I buy will be pre-owned in hopes of getting someone else's town!! I think that would be kinda fun. What villagers were there?

I deleted it, after walking around a bit, and seeing who lived there.

It was a second copy of WW. ^_^

I bought a used cartridge a while back that already had a town called Halow'en on it.The town was kind of bare and most of the trees had been chopped down but it had some good villagers....I think Gala,Diana,Molly,Lopez,Mott and Lionel were living there.I can't remember the rest.I kept Mott and Gala and found homes for the others.I used the town for cycling for a while then decided to keep it as a regular town.The screenshots above are kind of before and after.I bought another used cartridge before this one which was probably the ugliest town I've ever seen but there was about 20 million bells in the ABD and a full set of gold furniture in the mayor's house.

They have Kitt, Clay, Peanut, Static, Whitney, Avery (who I really dislike..), Colton and Freya.
It appears someone has moved away, but I have no clue who it was.

Cool! I was planning on keeping the used town, but I'm not sure about.
What happened if this guy lost it or something.

The town I have, the person chopped down all of the regular trees and replaced them with nothing but fruit trees (with a very few ceder trees in the area).
So the town looks really weird right now with the one pink tree, which is the town's tree.

Also, I have no clue what the town's native fruit is.

My sister bought a used game and got a town, but she deleted it pretty quickly because the mayor was a male. I can't remember who the villagers were, and the town was pretty new. The original buyer gave up on it pretty quickly...

Yeah, the person was gone for like 12 months, according to what some of the villagers said.

I think it would be interesting to take a town someone abandoned and make it truly great. Though since I buy Animal Crossing on release date that probably won't happen.

I abandoned my WW town after 4 years because it became a chore.

I dreaded waking up to play.

I had no time for my own life, and it affected my health.

The moment I hit delete town, it felt like a weight had been lifted, so I can totally relate.

Here's the Dream address, I went to clean it up after time traveling.
Edited: Town no longer there now.

Might restart it after all, I see villagers I really like show up on Main Street. ;---;

I bought once a pre owned New Leaf. The town on it wasn't really developed at all, overall it was pretty
messy. If I remember correctly, there was two character houses and only the mayor's house was kinda
furnished, while the other one was almost empty. It seems that the previous owner didn't played the
game for a long while before he/she sold it, as the villagers complained that the player was gone for
over year when I asked them. After all, I didn't kept the town because not only I didn't liked the town
map, but also the name of the town as well as the mayor. I woud keep however a pre owned town if
it's one I like and were I think that I could work with it.

I bought my sister in laws town. I had a hard time deleting it because she had made her own paths, and had a cute little orchard with a cute custom sign. Her house was coming along very nicely too. I eventually deleted and for some reason, I felt very guilty.
