Postbox Management

So since I started the game on release day, I've been opening my post and leaving the letters in there without deleting any.

Now that I'm creeping close to the storage limit on the postbox, I need to delete a load. However, the only way I can see to do this is to open each letter individually, then press '-' to delete it...unless I'm missing something?

Please tell me there's a quicker way to select and delete multiple letters, otherwise this evening's play session is going to be awfully dull!

I'm in the same boat, and I haven't seen a faster way... Maybe pick a movie or a good youtube playlist to watch while grinding it out.

I've heard that the game automatically deletes the oldest messages once you hit your limit, but I haven't tested that out or anything.

Because of time travel, I have reached max mailbox capacity. The game deletes the oldest mail you get so I don't bother deleting anything anymore.

I suggest just leave it be.

I believe it doesn't delete anything you've starred, so if you have any cute/funny letters you'd like to keep, it'd probably be best to do so now.

I really didn't think about the limit until now- I was so close to hitting it. Wow is deleting them individually cumbersome. I think I'm just going to do about 10-15 a day for the next week or two until I have paired it down enough!

I like how nook shopping items auto deletes. Too bad the nook mile items can't do the same.

I'm suddenly very glad that I've always deleted everything non-essential immediately after reading it...

I'm not even close to the limit, but this week I've been getting a loading screen ("hold on a sec") every time I open the mailbox.
It never did this before, even with tons of items/letters waiting. Think I need to delete some stuff?
