I was just wondering, will the Japanese Amiibo cards work with the English game?

I absolutely can NOT find packs of amiibo cards anywhere, Last time I bought 4 packs I had to drive almost an hour away.

Yes they will. No amiibos are region locked, so Japanese cards would work fine on your game.

I've just double checked with my Japanese Isabelle card, and it summons Isabelle correctly when scanned with the amiibo phone thing.

I have the NA game and both JP & NA cards. They all work. So does the JP Villager amiibo which gets you a gold villager statute to decorate with.
