Possible Places

The City
- Without Redd, Katrina, and Dr. Shrunk. They return to their random days in your town or they keep their stores, but still make random town visits once a week. It's be a win win. Everything else stays.

Museum
-With a gyroid section where you could set up musical arrangements by interacting with the gyroids. Could provide hours of fun, especially after the whole collection has been surrendered to the Museum.

Police Station
-Different appearance than the GameCube version inside and out. Serves as a giant lost and found, a place to report noisy/annoying/messy neighbors (like cityfolk had in town hall), run by Copper and Booker. Occasional theft or litterer reported by your or your neighbor and Copper and Booker will spend the night searching for the criminal with flashlights. You find the criminal first? Turn him into the police station for a hefty reward of 5,000-15,000 bells.

Labelle's Store
- Able Sister from Gracie Grace opens a store in the city as a high end extension of Gracie Grace. She'd sell shoes, pants, shorts, skirts, dresses, tops, accessories, hats, and umbrellas. She'd maintain a much larger inventory than her small town sisters, at a much higher price. inventory probably wouldnt update as often as the able sisters, but more often than GG's store.

Town Hall
- Separate from the Post Office. Contains your CUSTOMIZABLE office, since you are the mayor. Still has the desk to ask about the environment and what not. Accepts donations for the city, as well as for the Boondocks(or another place in need) Contains an ABD machine. No longer has a recycle bin. Has a waiting area for those who set up meetings with you as the mayor.

Post Office
- Separate from Town Hall. Only deals with mailing packages and letters. Occasionally loses your mail, such as an order from Tom Nook, so you have to go to the Post Office to collect the package. OR you could always collect furniture orders from the post office being that couches are far too large to fit in a mail box.

Town Dump
-Probably removed because we maintain a clean little town. I, however, quite enjoyed the dump. So, A few of those recycle bins could be set in there to give it more of a green feel. Certain things like tires, tin cans, and garbage fished from the river gets put on the ground in the dump. Furniture goes in the recycle bin.

Tom Nooks & Able Sister's
- Each with one more upgrade. Yes I am aware that Able Sisters never had one, because they have that cute little family owned thing going on. They'd only have one upgrade total after spending around 500,000 at their store which would only expand their store enough to hold a few more of each item type. IDK what Nookington's would turn into.

The Roost
- Moves out of the Museum basement. Begins serving something other than coffee, doughnuts maybe. KK Slider still plays here. Yourself and your neighbors can now access the little stage with the piano to play for your friends. You can play a guitar. You can play drums. Whatever. You'd play the instrument on the bottom screen, and see the crowd reactions to your music on top.

The Gate
- I don't know if it should stay. I liked the train to some extent. I also liked the bus to go to the city. I don't know.

I hate you.

So he can come back on a random day of the week. Like before.

That's me meeting in the middle, because personally, I really like the city with the visitors in it. It could've had a bit more to do, but it was good enough for me.

Those are great ideas! I hope some of those were actually included in the game ^^

I would like a little cave somewhere in town that is pretty dark and you can grow/find mushrooms (:

In addition to everything that has been said...

  • The City: AC:CF/AC:LGTTC was called so for a reason, the city was included in the game. But however, I would like the city to return but to be more 'fun'. Sure, the city was fun the first time you go, and for the next few times (essentially until Phineas comes), but then it's just repetitive. but with Red and all those peeps. I think they should stay there (that is if they do have the city or something like) it makes it more like the city. Black market, theater, high priced clothing.furniture etc..
  • Museum: Yes, I have really wanted this because then Gyroids will actually have a use rather that looking like [insert word that can not be said over the internet here]. Also a collection where Sea Shells can be placed would be nice. I would also like something like a flower exhibition where you can donate flowers and they make those flower artworks,
  • Police Station: I'm liking the criminal idea but I doubt it would happen. but I would really like if they had some sort of variation, and included the police station too. I never actually played ACGC so I can't really expand on what I've written due to that, I'm looking to buy a copy now though. But I do like the idea.
  • Labelle's Store: People have been saying Labelle's will be something like an Able's expansion. I would like this, I would also like Kick to look like Nook when you have Nookingtons (tuxedo or something like that), that way he would have a job and it would be likable to those who played CF before. But then part of me doesn't want this to be added as I want something like the city put back into the game. But it wouldn't bother me. It just doesn't seem natural to have a cheapo section of a clothes shop then one top-notch expensive part where you just buy heaps amazing stuff.
  • Town Hall: I would very much like these ideas. But I would want the recycling bin just for those reasons
  • Post Office: I'd like this to be a separate room to the Town Hall - but still be connected, Pally and Phyllis would work there essentially. And I do like the collecting items that are large from it, too.
  • Town Dump: Not much comment, but I would like it
  • Tom Nooks & Able Sister's: Hoping for an Able's upgrade, Nook has enough already.
  • The Roost: I do like this idea. I would like The Roost to be moved from the basement and open up as a cafe. I also like the music idea. Most games these days have the music part implied into them anyway.
  • The Gate Agreeing with you. But with the police station (meaning if it is implied ) hoping for new characters.

An amusment park would be really fun 8D
Rollar Coasters, Ferris wheel, mini games, bumper cars, ect
Eww. no thanks - this would probably ruin AC for many people. However, with the Festivale and all. It would be nice is it lasted a few days (maybe 3) and Pave had a 'tent' next to him (like the bug off and fishing tent) where there is an overview of a theme park.

Mushrooms have already been confirmed to grow in the town as in previous series, however I would like a cave, but it would be a fishing spot like thing where you catch fish

Essentially, an updated version of ACGC with a few ACCF features and some upgrades would be perfect. Even if this didn't happen but it was still good. It would be nice. I wouldn't like things which would ruin the 'feel' of AC. Like people wanting surfboards.... It's a DS game, it doesn't have as bug a hard-drive or whatever as Wii games. I just want it to keep it's feel.

I know this isn't a place .. but you know what I never understood? Umbrella's.
I felt like buying them was just a waste of money because when it came round to it, they did naff all when you didn't use them.

What I'd LOVE to see, is something like: when it rains, and you're outside for some time without an umbrella, you get a 'cold'.
By 'cold' I mean your face becomes ill-looking, almost like when you're stung by bee's, and the neighbours mention it and refuse to talk to you until you take medicine because they don't want to become 'ill'.

I'd really love that idea as it would encourage you to use an umbrella - finally :)

Garden- There should definitely be a secluded area in your town where you can place hybrids and what-not. This was only acheivable by hacking your town and what not, which I never got the chance to do.
Statues/Monuments- I would like to see more from donating to your town than just a fountain, bridge, and windmill/lighthouse. Imagine having a stone monument of you in your town in dedication to your contributation!
Underwater-world- I have no idea how this would work out, but in the video clip for the new Animal Crossing game, the person's avatar dived underwater and then the video clip mysteriously ended >.>
More Shops!- There will probably not be a city in this version of the game, instead near Nook's and Able sisters' there should be a series of new shops that could be influenced on ones from the city. Having only two stores in your town is kinda drab...

Statue wise, if I remember correctly, in ACPG, there is a statue of you once you pay off your house...
They could have a little mall with different shops such as theater, Gracie's, etc. (Redd's being in an dark alley)

New Nook expansion-Instead of Nookingtons on it's own,how about a NookMall? Containing Nookingtons,HRA,and Gracie Grace. And from time to time,Redd and Katrina tents come by the mall.Although I like AC to be more rural than urban so there could be a choice between having a Mall or Marketplace.
Caf?-I actually liked the idea of having the Caf? as a separate building.Maybe during the summer there could be a stage outside of the Roost for an Outdoor K.K. Slider concert and some of the villagers come and watch.
Outdoor camera rotation-It would be fun to wander around your town and seeing it at different angles without hacking. As for example. The beach is towards the south part of the screen, when rotating the camera,it'll look like it's on the north part of the screen.Although in the trailer, the beach was sideways and curved to the bottom.
Full indoor camera rotation-It could be fun to have a full 360 degree camera rotation. It would be nice to have the door to the left, windows at the top and bottom of the screen or in a different part of the room.

If only Nintendo had a suggestion box, we could swamp them with amazing ideas like these!!

Gosh I hope the city returns. Remember that one empty building that Nook supposedly owned and lost? IF the city returns, do you suppose Nook or someone else would open something in it's place? If so, what?
