Pok?mon Smash! was previously known as Pok?mon Sunday and is a Japanese variety show themed around the Pok?mon franchise. In the information summary for next Sunday?s episode, it states that the director of Pok?mon Black Version and Pok?mon White Version, Junichi Masuda will be making a big announcement on the show.
Nintendo Japan?s CEO Satoru Iwata confirmed earlier this year that a Pok?mon game is in development for the Wii; The Pok?mon Company?s CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara also stated a few months back that two new Pok?mon games are expected to be unveiled this year for both the Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS. Junichi Masuda?s announcement could be related to one of these three new games, or he may even be unveiling the first of the three Unova event Pok?mon.

On top of all that Nintendo will be holding a big Nintendo 3DS conference on Tuesday where they have promised to show the public some exciting new Nintendo 3DS games which haven?t been exposed yet.
It has also been confirmed that details of a Mewtwo distribution event will be given on next week?s show; the event will tie in with a Mewtwo TV special and the release of a new Trading Card Game expansion featuring both a Kyurem Ex and Mewtwo Ex theme deck.
