So I thought I'd make a companion thread to the terrible club tortimer experiences, where we can talk about our good encounters too!

I've met:
-a really sweet 16 year old japanese girl, who spoke perfect english and we had a pretty good conversation. She loved sia and justin bieber and her dream was to visit new york. I hope she gets there. <3
-a 14 year old canadian girl who loved sci-fi, particularly classic star trek, we had fun chatting and swimming together.
-an 11 year old who shared my birthday!
- several french girls, it's always fun to try to practice my french skills. Almost all of them asked if I was for clinton or trump. lol

and several more that aren't particularly noteworthy but we did play tours together.

so what are some of your better cub tortimer experiences? :)

i've met a lot of nice people! a girl from london that loved parks & rec so we talked about that, a french girl that i talked about paris with, a few russian girls (i'm from russia too but i live in the US now so that was fun), a guy from canada that shared my birthday, and i talked with a girl i met that happened to be on tbt haha. i've never had a negative experience on club tortimer.

back in 2013 I had an island items shop here on retail so I was always traveling (my character got even a lasting tan )
I lost count on how many trips I had done to get those items well never had a problem just friendly people or others that well simply minded their business but nothing bad happened ^^
now well I don't go here in years don't know if things changed

I made friends with this girl and we played like 2 hours of tours together then we got d/c :(

Someone dressed up as santa and gave away a ton of bells! I think it was around 3mil worth

i remember sitting on the tour chair & having a deep conversation with this guy about life, kinda weird but it was fun, also nice to see someone my age

I met some nice Japanese people who invited me in their town and give me stuff once.

I met someone around my age and we chatted a bit about random things, and he gave me the striped and white wetsuits because I didn't have any lol. Really nice guy, sadly never saw him online again and I just purged my friends list because it was nearly full from trades.

I've met some nice girls that like to talk about school, and I enjoy listening to them, but they're always much younger than me.

posting again on my own thread, because i just played with a french girl who upon seeing i was american asked me to speak english for her so i translated things for her like hello, how are, i'm fine, and she repeated them back to me and it was adorable.
Then a guy who was german but spoke english came on and I got to translate between everyone and we played hide and seek on the island and it was the cutest thing.

I've made a lot of friends on CT. I've sadly lost contact with them now. I especially miss Reo, a japanese lady in her fifties. We used to play New Leaf and talk on Swap Note. She sent me a picture of her doggie once. He was very cute.

The good people on CT outweighs the bad ones by far.

In my very first town I met a boy from Belgium (who's town was called New York lol) on the island and we became such good friends for a little while. I was new to AC at the time so he showed me how to do a lot of stuff, and he wore one of my custom designs as a shirt for a while :)

There was this girl I met when I first started playing acnl who really helped me out getting started which was really nice of her.:) We hung out a couple of times at each other's towns.

Another one was this nice person who bought something out of the mermaid set for me out of a random act of kindness.

<: My first visit on the island, there was a kind player who gave me like half a million bells because I told them I had just gotten the game in 2014.

I only did it once. There was one person there. They just kinda stood there doing nothing. I appreciated it because I didn't want to deal with any jerks.

Early on a dropped by the international island and found a very nice Japan player. She didn't speak a lot of English but wanted to tour. We had a blast doing some tours and she gave me a Sandcastle. It was the last island item and she refused bells. Put it in my museum and it's a nice reminder.

Another visit someone was very patient and taught us how to get in the water without a wetsuit. They also showed us how two players can sit on a stump. We than went on a lot of tours and had a blast. The bonus tours helped my extra player get her gold badge. I miss seeing the regular players from the early days.
