Maybe you can get her back with the winter update? You might be able to wisp her back to town.

I heard that setting the date when you play (if you've been gone a long time) to the date last played, rather than the current, helps avoid move-outs.

Oh no I couldn't work with it if I lost a villager twice, they would just have to be gone permanently even if I loved them. Having done the 16 villager cycle for Genji not so long ago, I know how frustrating and time consuming it is. As difficult as it is, are you able to find somebody instead of her? sorry that happened
