Popular villagers you hate?

I've had Biskit in both Wild World and New Leaf, over time I've reevaluated him but I still get a bit annoyed when he says certain things lol I find him a really adorable character, plus all the lazy guys are a bit stupid but Biskit sometimes makes really stupid outings HAHAH Once he was talking with Cherry(their character comparability is at the highest level), the conversation was hilarious even if I don't remember what the topic was, but I well remember Biskit was arguing a very stupid speech and Cherry was exasperated and tried to make him understand how senseless what he was saying was HAHAHA Is it really true that opposites attract eachother?

after making this post i realized how long this was so at the bottom i put a brief summary in case you dont feel like reading this whole thing
I kind of have a weird hatred for raymond but at the same time i really want him. so i have graham as my smug rn, he's so cute and all, but i feel like after all the ppl saying how adorable raymond is i kind of want him. but at the same time i would never let graham go and i will not have 2 smugs bc they are pretty annoying the only smug i've ever had that i liked is graham.
next, i strongly dislike judy bc i feel like she gets too much attention, sure she's cute and all, but i feel like snooty villagers are incredibly annoying and self-entitled, so i don't really like her. also, she kinda steals the spotlight from the villagers that i love more, as NONE of my favorite villagers are popular, and they should be, they are sooo cute.
ADDITIONALLY, i am not a huge fan of lucky. i was literally overjoyed, almost screamed when my lazy plot autofilled with him. i just never got attached to him. he just doesn't give off lazy villager vibes, and i feel like he would be a great cranky villager. and idk, i just personally am not a huge fan of him.
apparently pietro is popular now, so i must go on and on about how i am a bit terrified of clowns and he is literally a freaking clown. i just hate clowns bc my cousin told me a scary clown story and to this day i am not a fan of clowns. they're just so fake and creepy.

Not a fan of Francine/Chrissy, they are really artificial looking but just for patterns. I will admit Francine’s expression is very charming, but the overall look is too much for me.
Don’t really like Apple, or most of the superhero villagers as they are too aggressively kidcore for me, and some of the popular crossover characters like some Sanrio characters.
I like Bob but overrated. Apollo is really plain, and normally I dont mind but hes truly boring, idk why hes top eagle. I dont even think hes very popular but likewise Boots is not the best alligator at all.
I like Chief but he isnt the best wolf either.
I don’t like most of the dogs.

Admittedly I have a bit of a bone to pick with all the "populars"
It's frustrating that almost everyone gravitates towards the same 5 villagers out of an assortment of literal hundreds, and the rest get ignored. I really dislike the arbitrary "tier lists"; it creates this misleading concept that populars of a certain personality type that share the same exact pool of dialogue with others that are less popular, have some mysterious factor that somehow makes them objectively "better". It makes zero sense.
There's also a weird double standard. People gush over the more natural-looking popular villagers like Fauna/Fang/Maple/Molly and say they're easy on the eyes and they fit their cottagecore nature-themed island and whatnot, but then they'll look at other equally natural-looking villagers like Blair or Chief and suddenly they're not given the same courtesy
Nintendo themselves does a healthy bit of this too, only really acknowledging and giving spotlight to the really popular villagers: Fauna, Fang, Apollo, Wolfgang, Maple, etc. etc.
I'm gonna sound like a major hypocrite a little bit considering half my residents are popular ones (Stitches, Audie, Chrissy, Wolfgang, Whitney) and kind of salty as my favorite is super unpopular (Chief... the 1# most ignored of the largely popular wolf villagers lmao
), and I feel a little isolated from the community over this sometimes, but that's just how I feel about it

I HATE FRANCINE At first i was so excited to see her in my town bc i noticed a lot of people who played acnh loved her and i mainly recognized her on the cover of Bubblegum K.K. I talked to her and gave me sarcasm. Everytime i talked to her she always said things about how i looked and sarcasm sarcasm ALL THIS SARCASM!!! NOT EVEN IN A FRIENDLY WAY SHE WAS SO SARCASTIC TO ME ALL THE TIME it took me months to get her out of my town and once she finally told me she was leaving i hit her on the head with my net multiple times and surrounded her with pitfalls. I absolutely hate seeing her when shes at main street Francine you were never welcome to my town EVER >XC
Stitches, dont get me wrong, Stitches really is adorable, but this boy gave me lots of hard times, in Wild World i had him when i was a kid, and then one day he left the town without saying me and i cried hard, on New Leaf he did the same and i got pretty sad X'D i started hating him for that, and if he gets in my town now i will prob just try to sell him or ignore him.
Maple, she is ok, but she looks pretty plain to me, there is more fun looking normal villagers.
Drago, he just dont fit in any of my towns, and he looks kinda ugly imo.
Also Francine and Julian, i used to love them too but now for some reason i just cant see them anything more than snob rich people.

I absolutely hated and despised Merengue in one of my New Leaf towns, she randomly moved in and she would never move out.
She wouldn't stop talking to T-Bone, and that made me super mad. I tried so hard to kick the ***** out by time-traveling, but I lost one of my favorites Coco instead.
She ticked me off so badly, that I had to reset my town.
I get angry whenever I have to see her again.

Lolly, I'm not a fan of her at all. I know it's a stupid reason, but it's mainly because my YouTube was flooded by her and Raymond videos and it was annoying me.
Raymond is one of my faves, Lolly ain't for me.

I don't necessarily "hate" villagers unless they were particularly difficult to get out of my town. However, of the popular ones, there are a few that I question why they are so popular? Like.. why? Those would be:
Bob
Pietro.. (I had him in my New Leaf town, he was sweet but his aesthetic is atrocious)
Julian..(also had him, but do not like all the blue going on)
Zucker.. and also all the octopuses while we're at it
Fuschia is on the top lists I have seen online??? Why???? There are better deers...
Tangy...cute but I don't want a fruit, I want an animal.
Ione... sorry don't come for me.. I just like natural looking squirrels and I hate the colour blue lol

Today I saw a gif of the Animal Crossing movie that I saw when I was 10 (I remember it fondly because it was a very well done amateur dubbing in my language, I wasn't used to subtitled anime yet). And then I remembered that I dislike Whitney, because even though in the movie she turns out to be a good friend in the end, she seemed a little too snooty to me! I don't know where this dislike comes from, after all every snootie has the same character, so will it depend on her appearance? Who knows!
(Maybe it's a crime to be too beautiful)
Edit: Omg, I remembered now I had a crush on Apollo, this is so embarrassing HAHAH I had him in one of my Wild World towns, but I forgot over time. (This is related to the movie, but I don't want spoiler anything).

There aren't really any popular villagers I downright hate. If they're popular, it's usually because they're the safest villagers design wise, so the closest thing to a popular villager I hate is just some that I find to be kinda boring.
The closest to one I hate is Judy. She's not BAD, I can tolerate her, but I feel she's a bit over the top design wise.
I will say though, a lot of people here and in the AC fandom seem to hate certain villagers simply because they're popular. I suppose that's not invalid since... well, it's just people's opinions, there's nothing wrong with them so long as they're not hunting down others. Still though, I can't help but think about the fact that if Raymond or Marshal weren't as popular, nobody would be dogging on them. The Raymond hate bandwagon has been a thing since 2020 unfortunately.
