Where as I do feel bad for the people who couldn't get any (I only got the pumpkin cause it was all I could afford) You can't expect people to just give them away for dirt cheap to new or old members. They're rare items and a lot of people really like to collect them just like someone would have a collection off the internet lol

Yes, I agree. They're rare and valuable, but still, it's just kind of upsetting watching the inflation rise and seeing how some people probably won't get any for a long time because of the prices, while the lucky few who got tons sell them for a boatload of TBT.

Looking back at the IGB-TBT exchange rates and their inflation, it's another sign the economy on here is so unstable.

They economy is perfectly stable. If you didn't get them then tough luck, we took the time to stop what we were doing and panic our butts off waiting to see if we got them. If something sells out irl like amiibo, people can get mad all they want but it doesn't make them right if they say that they should have restocked more and its stupid that people sell the for that much. If it's worth that much to you, then you'll pay what they ask for, but if not then just walk away or come back when you've taken the time to earn more TBT. People don't use TBT just for collectibles btw, the sellers could be saving for something themselves and this is the perfect chance to make a bit of cash.

If you think fluctuation in exchange rates or inflation is what makes an economy unstable than you must not know much about how an economy works. All economies fluctuate at a rate not too far off from this. I've seen it everywhere. Real life, runescape, belltree and on other games. It's just how it is.

That being said..a digital economy much like this or any other game is bound to change more from time to time because there is never any set price for what things can and should be. lol It's all pixels in the end anyway.

I couldn't agree with you more! I personally don't really collect the collectibles (I had to get the pumpkin though lol) I am saving up for some art of my OC.
