Oh my gash. That would be the best possible thing to happen to me. I currently have 10 villagers. so I couldn't get Maple until you retrieve Poppy When are you starting your new town?

I am currently in the process of resetting and haven't found a town. I'd be more than happy to collect Poppy first. I also can't guarantee that you'll get Maple since this is a Maple belonging to someone else.
