Poor Unloved "Ugly" Villagers!

I naturally have this thing for appreciating others who are generally unappreciated. The "ugly" villagers tend to be my favourites, same goes for a lot of people I know in real life. I like them because I can see beyond their exterior and I tend to grow accustomed to them.
My town seems to have had a lot of luck attracting the unattractive, according to these forums. I've had Chow, Truffles, Pancetti, Alice- all those who have been mentioned in this particular thread.
I don't find them ugly at all! Alice is my best friend in my town. I'm never letting her leave; she's such a sweetheart. Pancetti is still here as part of my original villagers, and despite being a snootie, she is adorably sweet. She keeps giving me gifts as an apology for "putting up with her", despite me never having issues with her in the first place!
Chow and Truffles are long gone, but Truffles still visits my main town on occasion. It took time for me to warm up to Chow, but that was because he was my first cranky villager. By the end of it, I wasn't terribly sad to see him go, but he had become one of my friends. Truffles, meantime, was a total cutie. She tried so hard to be friends with everyone, even if the other villagers tended to make fun of her. I'm glad she still visits.

Coco gets a lot of hate for reasons I can understand.
But she's sweet and caring, and I love her because of those reasons.
This game pretty much teaches us "Don't Judge a Book by it's Cover", and that's what makes this game truly magical.

This is true about all the villagers people think are ugly. I think we just hear about Coco so much more cause she has a bigger fanbase than most.

Quillson was in my town for a year and just would not leave. Ugh! I was mad at him for squishing my trees and I didn't like how he looked, but I decided to forgive him. So, a few months of being friendly went by. Every time he pinged to say he was moving I'd give him my blessing. Only he kept changing his mind! (I hate that about smug villagers.) After the third time, I swore vengeance against him. In fact, he has a his own "tombstone" in my graveyard titled "Here lies Awful Green Duck >:[". He's the only villager to ever earn my hate.

Katt was one of them, but I actually regret letting her go. She was super cool after all. So, I've become a little more open to "ugly" villagers. This is a game that constantly reminds you to be kind to others because everyone needs love, so I guess everyone is worth a chance at least once.

I love Tabby! I had her in my main town and then I went on hiatus and she moved, then I found a plot a while ago in my second town and it was her! I couldn't have been more happy :3 I don't find her ugly and she is nice! Also she has a cool house theme that I may borrow for my 2nd character on my main town.

I just looked up Quillson, never seen him before... and I was expecting something truly horrible. all I got was something that is not the most appealing, but I think he looks like a perfect smug. meh.
I had Deena in my town and she definitely isn't the most visually appealing villager, but she was a sweetie. I know a lot of people don't like the bulls, but I loved Coach when I had him in my town. his appearance took a short time to get used to, but then I started thinking he's adorable. :'>
Beardo is the only villager I've had that I really thought looked... off. he just looks kinda scary. but I don't think he's super ugly. just kinda scary looking.

Vladimir. A lot of people say that his fur colour doesn't look right, or that the way his face is structured looks awful... But to be completely honest, right from the day I first met him, I found Vladimir's appearance full of character. He looks like the sort of fellow who'd have a little bit of an inferiority complex due to his small size, which I kind of like, and his appearance makes him look like a pugnacious sort of cub.
So many people would glady adopt Ankha and Tangy off your hands. The idea of Tangy being hurt makes me sad.
Let's be honest here, none of the animals in the game are at all unique besides their design. All lazy villagers all have the same personality, same with peppy villagers and any other villager personality type. So once you start talking to the villager, you will get close with them and you will eventually love them no matter how ugly they are.
