Our Christmas tree has a star one top, and at the bottom of the tree (where it is standing up in a box) there's fake snow. There's also a picture of my second cousin, a red bow (though I forgot to vote for that in the poll), ornaments made out of glass I believe, one ornament that I made at school kinda (I painted it when I was little), blinking lights, and some icicle ornaments I believe (didn't vote on the poll on that 0.o). We also have these ribbon thingies going around our tree, small stars, etc. :)

So we have three different trees - the main Christmas tree, our candy tree and my own tree that I have in my room.

On our main Christmas tree (the one that where our presents always are underneath) it's always topped with a beautiful angel that we've had since I was a baby. That tree has golden, green and red ball ornaments on it, red beads, golden and red birds and poinsettas. It's always so beautiful on Christmas morning.

Our candy tree is in the kitchen. We originally topped it with a gingerbread man, but we've been using a big, sparkly bow now. It of course is donned in literally anything relating to candy. Candy snowman, candy plushies, etc. It's really adorable. :)

My tree is pink and I have a blue star on top of it. I put sock monkeys, snowmen and some heart ornaments on it. Sooo I have a fair variety of things on all of my trees haha.

Wow. I have almost everything listed on my tree.

No one seems to like strings of popcorn or cranberries. I have often thought it would be fun to make them for the tree. The rest of the decorations would have to be homemade too. Like pincones with glitter, tin foil stars, etc.

I really like the idea of popcorn strings, but I've never met anyone who does that, I think it's a very American tradition.

At home, the tree has a few strings of tinsel, steady lights some baubles and an angel on top which is a 3D cardboard weeping angel from Doctor Who that my sister and I made from a magazine many years ago.

My friends and I would always put up a tree with baubles, steady lights, and little felt fingerpuppets I made of all of us, plus a couple of hideously tacky ornaments we bought from paperchase because they were so ugly.

This monstrosity has pride of place:

I bought some adorable Disney ornaments at a yard sale this year. So I have two trees this year. One has everything on it, and the other is Disney. It looks pretty.

I decorate it with very colorful and glittery and sparkly ornaments. I also put some lights around it and put a big spiky star on top. One of my favorite ornaments is this little Santa that I've had for a while, but he only has 1 leg because it broke off somehow oops

i forgot about pinecone decorations- ive seen people make reindeer from them.

my grandparents used to make popcorns strands for the trees. there used to be popcorn with colored kernels you could buy. i remember once as a kid, we all went to a teacher's apartment and she had us string popcorn for her tree. thats another thing that used to be in the storybooks for kids, trees strung up with cranberries and popcorn, heck i thought it came from England!

A string of cranberries? I've never heard of that, but it kinda sounds cute. ^^

Then again, you're wasting some perfectly good cranberries...

I put a lot of different kinds of things on my tree. Like: Lollipops, santas, tinsel, sleighs and reindeer's.

We have the strangest assortment of random ornaments, a lot of older ones passed down, we have really old Campbell's ornaments, some hand blown glass ornaments and stuff, then we have smirfy homemade ornaments me and my sister made as children in school with picture of us in them, we have plain glass bulbs, Styrofoam angels, red twist tie bows, we used to have song lights that played music and danced to them, we have hollow ornaments you put onto a light from the strand and they glow, we have angels and stars for the topper but usually put one of the angels on, lots of plastic cutesy snowmen/santa/reindeer ornaments we've collected through the years, some hallmark ornaments... you name it we probably have them...

I know we have at least four of them, and they are pretty old, like from the 80's/90's? They had the cute Campbell's soup kids on them I know one of them was definitely this green one, but I know we had older ones, I'll see if I can find them but I don't think we hung them this year cause we have a new cat...

ah, i love this ornament!

If it can be put on a tree, my family will use it as an ornament. We have been using ornaments that our family has had for 80 years, and we add new ornaments every year.

I also have a tiny fake tree in my room. It has Doctor Who ornaments.
