police station

I'd really like to add a police station to my town, but no matter how many villagers move in and out no one will suggest a police station. Ive built several PWP and the same ones are always there. Is there anything I can do to encourage my villagers to suggest a police station?

You can trigger villager "pings" by doing the beach trick - put on a wetsuit, go to the beach, get in the ocean, swim to the very corner (doesn't matter which) and sit there for about 5 minutes. Then head back and someone will ping you. Make sure your pockets are full and you don't have any Bells on you so they won't ping you about selling or buying something.

I was able to get the police station recommended on my first try using this method, but then again I'm pretty lucky haha.

Nope. It's purely luck. Just have to wait unfortunately. Do the diving trick every day to keep getting suggestions though.
