Police Station

Hey there! I have a question regarding the Police Station public work project. I've been getting the usual public work project request per day from villagers, but no police station yet. I've never had a problem unlocking it before In fact, it's usually always been the very first request I get. This time though, that's not the case. Is it more common to unlock than the other projects and am I bound to get it soon, or have I simply been really lucky in the past? Has anyone else had trouble getting it? Thanks so much!

It took me a really long time to get the police station as well. I also started to worry. I think you were probably just really lucky in the past. My sister got hers pretty quickly. My brother and I had to wait a bit longer to get ours.

I think it's random. I remember almost fuming when I didn't have it in my first town because they took ages to request it. It didn't take as long in my second town. I don't think it's less common than the other projects, in fact some of the others are probably less common since they require certain personalities (I've been waiting for Uchi PWPs for months and I time travel constantly). But the more PWPs are requested, the bigger chance you have at getting the police station from a random villager. So it's only a matter of time.

It's a random generation. I got mine 3 weeks after starting my town and it was purely by random. At first I thought if putting pitfall seeds everywhere would insulate any villager asking for the Police Station because of the safety of those around them but it didn't work. So by pure chance, Merengue suggested it and I'm grateful for it. You'll get it soon OP!

My police station took over 6 months. I wasn't aggressive;y looking for pings at first, but after a while I was getting kind of desperate. Just be ready, because pretty soon you'll have to agonize over which station to get

My police station was my first ever PWP request, from Lobo. In my storage town is was also an early request, and in my (now abandoned) side-town, it was also the first PWP request! I guess I must seem like a criminal and my villagers need protection from me lol. Hope you get yours soon!!
