Thank you all for the help on page 5! I just beat Mega Glalie after beeing stuck for two days, and now I have reached the stage 122.
I caught 84 pokemon and I wonder if anyone has beaten this game already?

I have, though I used the "exploit" to buy hearts when I got annoyed.

Kyogre is now available through a special stage for two weeks if anyone didn't know.

Oh my goodness, Kyogre? that's my favorite legendary besides Jirachi! I am so catching that little cutie, thanks! <3

Noooo, I`m stuck again with the Mega Gengar stage 135! I should probably go back, level up and catch the pokemon I haven?t caught yet. Why is it so easy to catch the Legendary Mew and Kyogre compared to some of the regular pokemon?!? I caught them on my first try.
Anyone any tips for Mega Gengar and the pokemon you used?

Thank you for the tips! Kyogre is surprisingly easy to catch, it`s like they want us to catch it.

I spent some gems to get 18 hearts, and the game hated me for it. I used them to go back and catch some Pokes that I missed, but I was only able to get 1. It didn't matter what the catch rate for the others were, I didn't get them. 89%? Nope not getting it! Wow, you killed Ivysaur in 1 turn! *30% catch rate.*

This is what I absolutely hate about this game. It doesn't add mystery or whatever they were going for, it just annoys people.

It's an attempt at making people more likely to buy their jewels instead of just waiting for hearts. If all Pokemon were caught right away like they were in Pokemon Link: Battle, then the only reason people would have to go back to previous stages would be to S rank them. Putting in a random chance to catch them increases the chance of them having to replay.

It's pretty bull**** at times though. When I catch a Pokemon that had a 5% chance while I don't catch one with a 90% chance, I can't help but wonder. I understand that there's still the 10% chance of failure, but the odds seem skewed at times.

Mew and kyogre are easier because they are designed for people who only just picked up the game. They are limited events so it would be unfair to restrict them to people with amazing end-game teams.

I caught mew as my 7th or so pokemon in the game for instance with a crappy team.

This game is very micro macro-transaction based.

In short, no.

aaaaaugh, i've been stuck on mega mawville for forEVER. any tips?

do levels count? i'm basically just making my teams up of whose power points are highest. how do levels affect this? like, if i have a level 4 charmeleon (50pts), is it the same as, say, a level 1 combusken (50pts)? also: do you think it'd be better to have a mega-evolveable pokemon with neutral effectiveness or a not-mega pokemon with super-effective?

also has anyone gotten past the expert levels because like i've beaten lucario and mew and that is IT

The levels do matter though not a huge amount. I noticed a damage change of +4 with a pokemon that had recently levelled for instance.

Their current damage level is shown on the pokemon's info screen so just use ones that do most damage, or click optimize which automatically chooses.

I just caught Kyorge so I think I'm late on the party. D;

It's still my second favorite legendary even if it was super easy to catch, so I'm still quite happy with the outcome! <3 however, I was wondering how you get Garchomp in this game?? My fianc? also plays and Garchomp is his favorite Pok?mon, so I would love to be spoiled at which stage we get him or if he's in the special stages?? ^^
