Do the ranks (rank S, A, B) actually mean something? Is the pokemon stronger if it is caught in S rank? Or do players get a reward for the S rank?

Just your score, but finishing the level in less turns/less time results in a higher catch rate and a higher rank, so higher rank=better catch rate.

I love it. What a fun little game!! I haven't been working on my team, beyond Nidoran (m), who I love having on my team in every game. (Poison unicorn rabbit baby!!!!) I can't decide if I want to do that, or if I want to progress in the game; seeing as lives are a thing and I'm sure as hell not paying real money for any game item.

I'm just finishing up the desert area!

I wish there was a player-vs-player mode so we could all battle eachother! It'd be like Connect Four, kind of.

Also S ranks unlock additional expert stages. In order to unlock the last one you need to S rank every normal level. I still have 10 or so to go... Ugh.

Never knew that, well I have to make up like 30 levels.

And here's a quick tip: I tried to S rank a few levels (like Sawk, Mienshao and Throh) dozens of times and could only get A ranks until I used the extra moves item. The extra moves don't count towards making it easier to catch them and doesn't increase your score but they do count towards ranks. Those levels were a breeze once I spent some of the million coins I've accumulated!

Though honestly I'm loving this game even more, I admit I used the exploit to max my hearts. ;w; but nothing else~ <3 that way it's still taking me long to level up and try to get good scores~ I love the challenge but having unlimited goes is real nice. ^^

Probably under system settings and data management. See if there's an option to delete just the save data and not the game as well. (There should be)

Glad I could help! I wanted to delete a game once but keep my save file (I needed a bigger SD card so I compromised by temporaily deleting my game, but I still wanted the save file for later). I figured the process would more or less be the same considering you were just looking for the opposite.

So Pokemon Shuffle now won't let you "check in" without downloading an update, though it seems to be referring to a software update rather than system.

I downloaded this game a week (?) or so ago, and I think it's really cute. c: As others have said, the pay-to-play thing doesn't really bother me as a puzzle game isn't really the type of game I'd play for hours anyways, more in short spurts. So it works fine.

And the Pokemon spin just makes it interesting to me, trying to catch them all and get S rank. Once I level my Pokemon up a bit I go back to previous levels to get a better score or catch a Pokemon I missed.

Although I have unlocked quite a few Expert ranks, I'm so bad at them I have yet to actually pass one. ;-; I'm just so slow haha~ Maybe once I level up a lot I'll go back and try again.

I'm getting kind of burnt out on this. I still need to S rank Zoroark, M. Mawile, M. Ampharos, M. Gengar and M. Mewtwo. I also need to catch Moltres, Suicune, Blaziken (oh my god it's impossible), Heatran, Xerneas, and Yveltal. I'll probably be able to unlock Mewtwo in a few years.

i downloaded the game but... ?!?!?!? idk i found to be quite boring to be honest. i did like link battle a bit but then i got really bored out of it... i guess i'm not made for this kind of puzzle games.

It happens. I play it, but I don't feverishly wait to replenish hearts. I play the game twice a day, tops.

I'm currently going through all the stages that are before Mega Glalie. After a few tries I thought it was a bit tough, so I just decided to S rank everything before it and catch whatever I missed. I've currently S ranked everything up to Mega Lopunny (maybe a few beyond that, don't remember).
