I had this worry going into the game too - Minecraft is actually one of the games I can't play!
The game does allow you to change the camera speed, how close the camera is (by default it is set as close as possible), and the way it follows Ditto.
I've personally only experienced motion sickness triggers in this game if I run around a lot instead of walking or I'm inside large builds. E.g. the (Bleak Beach spoiler) S.S. Anne and (Sparkling Skylands spoiler) Silph Co. building. For that reason I'll be avoiding any grand building projects and keeping everything small and cute.
