Ash gets MegazardY.

Aran, or whatever the mega evo special guy is called, has megazard X

They meet in Kalos league. Final showdown = X vs Y. Winner goes to semis.

Then Ash vs -entermainrival- and Greninja vs ???

Greninja vs someone else's main could make the Kalos league as good as the Sinnoh league. I don't want any of that Darkrai and Latios BS again though.

Uh, you do remember that he has never won a single Pokemon League, right? I don't count the Orange Islands due to them being kinda fanfiction in nature. He's the main character, but he's been a loser since the first season. There's other people miles ahead of him, and while he'll sometimes pull out something amazing, when he's actually put to the test he's not a great battler. Him getting a Mega Stone would be strange to say the least...

The change in him between the Unova and Kalos series is positive though. I remember watching some Unova episodes and just wondering when he'd become such a ****ing idiot. Now he actually does some cool crap outside of gym battles as well.

Also, Serena vs Ellie (I think that's her name) , in the pokeperformer grand festival thingy.

It won't be Zoey vs Dawn (haters back off, that battle was ****ing amazing) but it could be interesting.

I don't remember Dawn/Zoey too much, but I remember Gallade being a <censored> bada$$.

And I'm glad Ash is gonna get <spoiler>, I really enjoy the little guy :')

we just have an antenna and i watch the news nearly every day + whatever is in NBC/the CW (rarely)
all the other channels are mexican channels
closest thing we have to cartoon network stuff are the adventure time season 1 + regular show slack pack and best dvd in the world

pumpkaboo doesn't evolve unless the cake was a typo or unless the movie script came after the making of the cake scripts then i guess

also considering the fact pumpkaboo needs to be traded to evolve i doubt it will happen but who knows

i'm p sure those are random pokemon that will be featured in the short, like klefki (i think) was in the diancie one. I can see gothita belonging to Serena tho, but idk. people have been saying she is holding something on the cake but idk. People also say there's something like phantump on the cake, and I can see phantump being mistaken for noibat - so those two, at least, are plausible to belong to the characters (gothita for serena and I guess noibat for clemont since I don't see them giving ash two flying pokemon). Almost certain florges is just a featured pokemon tho
 
What do y'all think the new trend for competitive battling will be? Like, last gen we had Rain Teams (Almost every team I ran into had a Politoed or something that can utilize Rain on their team) and I'm pretty sure in Gen IV Sand Teams were a thing (I ran into Hippowdon quite a lot) so what could be next if anything at all?
