I don't have any bikes somehow but that wasn't the point, I liked the old throwing safari balls mechanic because it was unique.

but it was also really annoying because SAY you run into a shiny or whatever and it runs away because of the dumb mechanics. this way is so much better but i guess the old way was ok because ~*~*~*~*~*nostalgia*~*~*~*~*~

Yeah...nostalgia for nearly all previous games not just ruby/sapphire. I've not encountered shinies in safari zone so I missed out on that frustration.

Would you guys reckon the Safari Zone has more of a Shiny chance than regular areas?

Also the Friend Safari was totally removed in ORAS...right?

theres the regular safari zone but no dumb everything
you use your own pokeballs/attacks and stuff
to access all of it you need both mach and acro bikes

And that's a full Pokedex in Omega Ruby. And I haven't even beaten the Pokemon League yet. Yay, Pokemon Bank!

Why is Wally so much better at training than the PC and rival? He only starts seriously training his team around the time you're at the third gym, then ends up at the Pokemon League before you. I'm not sure what he did to be able to do that.

In other notes, I'm not sure if I can be bothered to retrain my entire "final" team just so they have pentagons on them. /rant

You can get them from the bike shop in Mauville. The first one (at least) is free.

Elite 4 and Champion was fairly easy. Only person that gave me a tiny bit of trouble was Drake, I didn't have anything to fight Dragon-types. The rest fell to OHKOs and whatnot.

i failed first time i challenged e4. drake had just 2 more pokemon and i think i was out of revives. next time i went back, i kICKED BUTT

I hate how most of the fire types you meet are in the middle of the game. I had such trouble against grass types since there were no fire types around xD

I like how in the Delta Episode, they make it so that OR/AS aren't really remakes, but an original story (do not steal).

This has happened to me before. I've never liked safari zones because it's difficult as hell to catch Pokemon. That's why Hoenn safari zone gets an A+
