I only got to see it a few months ago myself, since my birthday is in August. It's pretty neat, but fairly useless.

I didn't. Apparently it was in Pokemon X & Y, but I never played those on my birthday, so I was completely unaware of the feature.
It's a very minor feature so I'm not surprised that people didn't know.
It seems the shiny luck I had a few days ago has run out. I got two Charmeleons (FS but still), a Bergmite, Cubchoo, Vanillite and Piloswine in the span of a week. Now I'm actually shiny hunting and there's absolutely nothing showing up.
Trying to get a shiny Mareep to pop out on this route, though I'd be happy with a shiny anything at this point.

There's no limit on how many Pokeblocks you can feed so it's real easy to get Milotic the Pokeblock way

Does anyone know where the Rock Smash HM is in ORAS?

Okay, I'm a tad bit stuck on choosing what version to get. I LOVE the colour blue and I like that Team Aqua are more pirate like this time around, but I hate water and I prefer Groudon. It'd be easier if us Europeans didn't get coloured cases... ugh
In the end you'll be stuck with the water anyway, no matter which version you pick. You could try getting a Groudon from somebody else's OR version, since the item used for their Primal Reversions is found in both versions, just not the Pokemon.

Just hatched a shiny weedle in 56 eggs, was meant to be a project to keep me going until the 28th! Not complaining though, and I'm looking forward to seeing what some of the new megas look like shiny.
If you're wanting to see what they look like now, the images that leaked when the demo came out are now included in the Serebii Pokedex.

I'm not expecting anything in return. I have four Bank boxes full of spare legendaries that aren't used in my living dex. It's not like I'll make a great loss on it anyhow.
