I put a Ludicolo in daycare and I walk outside and daycare man already has the egg for me. And it hatched into Lotad obviously..

I thought there was a 256 step rule

not a glitch. ive had this happen to me multiple times

ive had that happen to me near the beginning of the game and a few days ago. my brother just said 'don't question it.'

^I'm pretty certain there is the 256 step rule. But the rule does not count from when you put the pokemon in the daycare. Instead you could be on your 254th step while putting them in the day care and the 4/5 steps taken to leave and reach the daycare man reset the counter and happen to spawn an egg at that time. ~ at the very least this was proen in past generations, I don't know about XY.

This or it's because Ludicolo has mad duckface and the other pokemon couldn't contain themselves.

I know that we know about most of the secret unlocks in the demo now but I was surprised to find that I had unlocked the Nugget Man quest and Steven's house in my English demo today, especially considering I haven't played it since last Thursday due to playing the Japanese demo and late nights at work... I still need to unlock the super secret mission with May though...

what would you guys say is a good nature for a treecko with unburden and a mudkip with damp? i want to do a giveaway in commemoration of ORAS and the prizes are the Hoenn starters but with good IVs, nature, HA, etc

I MADE A HANDY DANDY TABLE FOR YOU GUYS. of course, these are meant to be traded over to ORAS and i really wanted to have them holding the rare berries (lansat, starf, enigma) but pokebank says no.

i need to think of another thing for first place prize. does anybody have any ideas? so far i have:

1st Place : HA adamant Torchic + ??? + 1 perfect pokemon of their choosing from a list + starf,lansat,enigma berries

2nd Place: ??? + 1 perfect pokemon of their choosing from a list + starf,lansat,enigma berries

3rd Place: 1 perfect pokemon of their choosing from a list + starf,lansat,enigma berries

by perfect pokemon, i mean IVs, nature and ability wise. maybe egg moves.

SRS hinting there. Also Feebas is officially more common in that one advert than they are ingame.


And I'm playing my first playthrough as the female and naming her Asswater anyway.

I really hoped they changed how you find Feebas in game. It's been so much easier to find them in past games, why go back to the hard crappy way?

I kind of hope they go back to it. I mean it was awful, but everyone remembers it.
But I'm sure they won't, they've already gotten rid of having to force feed the thing 20 beauty pokeblocks, everything in games is getting easier, blah blah. ~yammers on~

Wasn't it confirmed in the ORAS Demo datadumps that Feebas' beauty evolution was returning? It was taken out in G5 because of the contest stats being removed entirely, but now that those stats have returned it makes sense for them to return to the beauty evolution, even if it's just for the remakes.

I'm not sure what to think in terms of whether or not they'd change how Feebas is obtained. They did change ways of encountering certain Pokemon in previous remakes, but they were legendary Pokemon (Moltres in FR/LG, Suicune in HG/SS). I'd be surprised if they got rid of it entirely, making it easier seems like an alternative that they'd consider before that.

I already bred a 5 iv Feebas to be on my team. I'm going to evolve it the Pokeblock way. Hopefully. I hope I don't screw it up.
