Serebii reveals another secret mission in the demo, this time with a reward:

Another rare secret mission, with an incredibly low appearance rate, has you go to another new island in search of a strange suspicious man. When you get to that island, the man will be found in part of the maze like part of the forest.

When you speak to the man, he will say that he has brought Nuggets to Hoenn and that he has more Nuggets than he can handle, and will give you one. This Nugget can be sent to the main games when you connect with Pok?mon Link.

The man implies that he has more Nuggets so it may be possible to get this mission multiple times. We'll bring more as it comes.

And also, one of the bug fixes from the new patch:

Following the release of the Version 1.3 patch last night, one of the small features that have been added has been confirmed. In addition to various bugfixes, such as a fix regarding Vivillon's image not properly appearing in Friend Safari's menus, the patch now fixes various special animations for when Pok?Balls open on trying to capture a Pok?mon or sending one in battle. Previously, these animations could be seen in battle, but not when you sent out your first Pok?mon. Now, these will always appear when they are your first Pok?mon sent in battle

Anyone else a bit bugged by the map style, mostly in the landmasses? I don't like that angular "pixelated" look to the edges...

I really hope they will add wandering pokemon's location in a place outside of the pokedex, it takes so much time to check... I liked how they appeared on the map app in DPP.

I think this is supposed to appear on the bottom screen, it'd be a missed chance if they decided not to put the roaming Pokemon on the map.
On the other hand, the only roaming Pokemon I can think of are Latios and Latias, only one of which will appear. All other legendaries are confirmed to appear, but it seems like it's mostly through soaring rather than in caves or roaming. Only time will tell.

There is a part where the night sky reflects stars on the water and omigosh the power omg.

Great, I guess this is why they kept telling folks to play daily. Shame I stopped, hope that doesn't ruin my chances.

There were craters all around Meteor falls in RSE. (or w/e the place with Lunatone and Solrock/Bagon was called north of Rustboro?)

I noticed at 3:26 there's grass inside a secret base. - Wonder if you can catch stuff in friends bases. It could work like the friend safari.

that place was already shown in a previous trailer and its been speculated to be the place bridging between E4 rooms, as you head into either Drake or Steven's room.

like i said, its purely speculation at this point, but considering it's been around for a while, it seems likely to be connected to the E4.

Anyway, there is those green dots on the map, one of those could be the battle frontier, or the battle frontier might not even be on the Hoenn map.

Anyway, only just over 3 weeks until we know if there'll be a BF. And who knows, if the games leak early again like X&Y (i hope not tho), we might know even sooner.

The Nugget mission, and various changes in Mossdeep City such as access to Steven Stone's house, started appearing for players around 2 weeks from the initial playthrough. We're still working on confirmations of specifics for the times so keep checking back.

Just wondering... But does this not work with just changing the 3DS date forward a day at a time and playing? Like, if you have your wi-fi switch turned off the console can't compare to the actual date online so it should work. ~ though I imagine there must be something preventing this is we're going to be able to pre-download games soon.
