I'll be able to complete my living dex with all of them now since I'm mainly missing Johto and Sinnoh legends...
I am so happy! I can finally get the legends in X/Y and (hopefully) all my Pokemon!
I'm just missing the special Vivillions and Diancie...
Wait, 'all legends'. Shouldn't The Gen I legends be on the islands then? The bird trio appeared. And does anyone know if Mewtwo will hold it's mega stone(s)?

It was a fun mechanic of Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs, really glad that flight it returning in a main game.
That's a lot of things to do. Really excited, hopefully these islands the legendaries are on aren't some dinky thing like Southern Island was in the original Eon Ticket.
Not really, most of those people are show offs and like Jake said, hoarders.
well we got mewtwo in XY, not sure about mew, and the bird trio were also in XY, but you only got one, depending on your starter.
the special vivillions are just the pokeball and fancy, right? and shush. we'll get diancie this month

Following the reveal of the Demos globally over the past couple of weeks, the latest addition to the list is Spain. The retail store GAME has announced that their Spanish branch shall be distributing the Pok?mon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire demo. Details of this distribution will be announced on Monday. We'll bring full details on this as it comes

Mega Beedrilll is something I hadn't known I had wanted, and now that it's here, I'm ecstatic. Beedrill is one of my favorite Kanto Pokemon, it's nice to see it getting some attention. Mega Pidgeot looks great. It has one of the best mega designs yet.

Wonder if the Old Sea Chart event will make an appearance this game. Would be nice to experience that event legitimately. Heck, the Naval Rock and Aurora Ticket events too!

No I'm pretty sure you're right in that it's a GBA. Game Freak upping that nostalgia factor.
Really just sit back and enjoy your adventure. Get to know your Pokemon and try to account for weaknesses. Or play your own way and use a single type of Pokemon like a water type. How you play is really up to you! You'll still have to progress with gym battles, but it's looking like there is a lot to do on the side when you're not fighting gym leaders like Pokemon contests!
