Pokémon Game Chat....

What are your experiences with Game chat on Pok?mon? Most of mine are pretty weird to be honest (*^_^*)

I only turned it on once by accident while trading with someone from TBT and it was an extremely awkward silence. I hoped they didn't hear me fumbling with my 3DS.

Otherwise, I would never use it. Too anxious.

i once turned it on when accepting a battle from someone cause they kept opting in for it and we couldn't battle unless i did as well. at first though, i didn't realize there was someone there. then i heard breathing and fumbling and i was like "hello?"

it was awkward at first but after a while it was fine. she sounded like a sweet kid so i had no reason to be an ass or be creeped out. xD

but... i usually opt out cause.. just no.

I only chat with my irl friends, but the one time I chat with a in-game-friend it was awkward.

I usually refuse to do a trade or battle if someone requests to use game chat o.o or if I accidentally initiate it, I'll cancel and then ask to trade again really quickly D: I feel like it's too awkward lolol

I use gamechat to chat with my canadian friend when she isn't allowed on the laptop anymore.
Its really quiet and fumbly though :<

I like voice chatting on skype so I don't mind voice chatting in Pokemon. I just can't stand all the tapping from the buttons since everyone refuses to use the touch screen.

My ex-boyfriend/now best friend told me to get Pokemon Y, and the day I did he went on to give me some pokemon. I didn't realize "game chat" meant "Mic chat" so I invited him to game chat thinking we would be able to talk through typing. xD When nothing happened (I had my volume turned down) I exited the game and went to our site and was like "why didn't it let us talk" and he said "KAM I WAS SAYING HELLO TO YOU AND YOU IGNORED ME" and then I realized you have to use your mic. xD
We went and traded with gamechat on, and I heard his voice (so adorable) and he heard me talking to my sister (I was too shy to talk directly to him) xD He said my voice is CUTE ;v;
Anyway, that was my only experience with gamechat since I only really trade/battle with him.

I refuse to use it, haha. They don't need to hear me chugging the snacks or whatever it is I happen to be doing aside from trading.
