I like how this rare Pokeball will normally be obtained if you get an event Pokemon. I also really like its design. One of my favourite Pokemon, Darkrai, comes in a Cherish Ball for my Pokemon X game
Favourite ball: I really love the ordinary pokeball design actually, probably because it's so simple and iconic, but apart from that, my pick would be the love ball. It's pink and has a heart on it and I like pink and hearts. That's pretty much it really.
I think its one of the best because its got a pretty design, but I also imagine when a wild pokemon is first caught, its usually hurt and probably scared, i can imagine getting into a heal ball, being healed to full health and being comfortable would be a lot nicer experience for the pokemon than just a regular non-healing ball!
My favourite pokeball sprite is the Poke Ball because its the classic Pokeball. It reminds me of Pokemon from the 90s, my childhood... pretty much nostalgic to me. I was a huge Pokemon fan in the 90s.
I like it because it has a web design that is raised up from the ball so it is not completely round like most of the other pokeballs. I also like a lot of the water pokemon and this pokeball makes them easier to catch.
My favourite pokeball is the heal ball.
It pretty neat because I like to make the Pokemon weak so they're easy to catch.
This means a heal ball would restore their HP c:
Entry Way Four:
Considering there are a lot of entries, I figure I'll try to get in as many as I can. Hopefully this counts as being the next day.
I only wanted two collectibles from this forum: the Togepi Egg and the Pokeball. I actually did not succeed in getting the Togepi Eggs, but a friend of mine noticed I was having trouble in the marketplace so she got them and gifted them to me. I've tried to get more TBT for the Pokeball, but I ended up spending a lot for villagers I adopted from the cycle towns. Even if I don't win it from this giveaway... I'm sure I'll figure something out.
But the reason I want the collectible is because Pokemon is something I've kept with me for more than a decade. I was introduced to Pokemon in elementary school when I stumbled upon some cute toys at an oriental store my mom frequents. My brother figured out there was an anime for it and that was at the beginning of the Pokemon fad. I actually collected the cards since I was young and been consistent about it til this point. Anytime life was difficult, playing the card game was therapeutic and it kept me pretty grounded. I'd just get so caught up in Pokemon that I'd forget my worries.
Since I quit Gamestop in 2010, I've managed five local tournaments for the video games. We generally have about 30 members in our group and in the last year we appended to make a general competitive video game group. We host tournaments for Super Smash, Marvel vs Capcom, Halo, etc and I'm in charge of running anything Pokemon. My last tournament ran for two months with the basis being Wifi competition since everyone has gotten older and has jobs, kids, and whatnot. I have yet to host a TCG tournament, but as far as the card community goes, mostly everyone plays Magic the Gathering or Yugioh so the interest for Pokemon kinda targets maybe three people.
My Pokemon collection spans from when I was a kid and I'll post some pictures of it. Obviously I cant flood pictures of my collection considering it's been ongoing since elementary school (So either this will help me get the max entries or just make me look kinda obsessive.) My card collection is, obviously, the majority and I have more than 10k cards excluding energies. I kinda just found some pictures I had on my computer and mashed them together. As much as I would love to really showcase it I know I need to pull the reigns a bit. Also, I dunno if I would have the time to do that in the first place, but nonetheless I really enjoy my collection cause every piece has a special story behind it. I've pulled a lot of pieces from yard sales and I even have many toys that are missing limbs. Its like Toy Story took over and I'd feel like I'm abandoning someone lolz.
But I have stuff like bandaids, plates, wind chimes, cereal boxes, shampoos, water floaties, etc... I even still have the packages for most of the booster packs I've opened since I was a kid. Pokemon is dangerous to collect cause they have it plastered over anything you can think of and its all crazy adorable....
I still battle online in X&Y and I have about ten teams that I run. This is due to having my tournaments where I act like the "gym leader" and people win points every time they defeat a team. I haven't been playing recently cause I needed an Animal Crossing break lolz but I'm excited for Ruby/Sapphire's revamp because those were actually my favorite versions.
Pokemon is a big part of my life, so I feel like I can validate that further by having the collectible. I don't plan to sell it off like I don't plan to sell off the togepi eggs I have. I have actually been trying to get one(which is obvious from my many threads in the tbt marketplace explaining such), but I seem to get overpowered in the marketplace.
One of these days I'll catch a break though. So good luck to everyone cause theres a lot of entries for this haha. I know theres a lot of people who have passion for the Pokemans as much as I do.
