We've successfully convinced the Dodo Brothers to recycle one of their old computer terminals to the Resident Services building for records keeping. We didn't originally anticipate the project to take off as much as it has, but, with the number of residents and services provided on the island increasing, it seems smart to record what we can, even if the system is a bit archaic.
The progress that we've made is truly incredible. We've recently updated Nook's Cranny to provide a larger range of goods to the community, the Able Sisters have set up a clothing shop, and Blathers has expanded the museum to include works of art on the island. There's no telling where we'll source said art, but, I have high hopes for us.
We've started the next major phase of development on the island: major terraforming. The rivers have been filled in, and we're beginning to shape the cliffs of the island to form new and exciting districts. The process is slow, as we can only move our buildings around to accommodate our construction so quickly.
