Hiii,

Is there a faster way (or trick) to get a villager to suggest the Police Station as a project?
It's been ages -_- They just keep suggesting stupid things -_-

Put all your bells in the bank and keep your items in storage.
Use a wetsuit and go to the beach for about 2~5 minutes.
Then walk around town and someone should ping, suggesting a PWP.

if you want to speed up the process in case it'll take like forever to get the police station, what you could do is focus on one villager personality and don't accept pings from any other personality types. For example focus on only suggestions from cranky villagers and increase the chance to get to the suggestion by making less and less suggestions from the cranky suggestions to pick from so that they'll be more likely to pick the suggestions that all villager personality types can pick since the police station is filed as an all personality suggestion.

Doesn't sound like it would work. It sounds like it just resets the mainland defaults by leaving and coming back, but I might try it.

I would advise to do this with the swimming trick as well to keep your ping chances as high as possible (I should of mentioned that). But hopefully it'll help. Also what you could do is have a lot of villagers with the same personality type as well in case you get unlucky with the pings.

They may ask you to change their greetings or ask you to do errands; to minimize this, be sure to have no bells on you and fill your pocket with only flowers or seashells to prevent them from giving you anything. Sometimes 5 minutes is not even enough for them to ping, I'd say swim for about 5-10 minutes. Purposely getting stung by jellyfish apparently helps also.
