I tried plot reseting for the first time and it's such a pain but SOOO worth it. Do you bother with plot resetting? Honestly it's so helpful. You don't have to worry about a villager moving on your flowers etc.
Yes, I do the pattern method to manipulate villager plotting and it makes it so incredibly easy and seamless. I can literally pick and choose where a house plots just be removing a single pattern.
I just started plot resetting when I got my permanent dreamies. It's too much work for me to line everything up perfectly so I just make sure they end up in the general area I want
I do plot resetting as well. I have a vague idea of who i wanna have together with who, for example I placed the houses of Bob and Lobo next to each other, my peppy villager is near the plaza and my smug villager. Also my cranky villager is rather secluded and far away from the re-tail and town hall, since i figured they couldnt be bothered with the noise and buisy things anyway.
Currently Im trying to plot reset for Fauna, but she just wont move into the spot i want her in q.q Though it is possible for villagers to move there, since I had others trying to plot there.
I only use the path method for the area around my house, since I havent even started on landscaping my town and couldnt be bothered to fill my whole down with paths. so i just try and try over and over again, to get certain villagers in their designated spots.
I used to just let things lay as they may, but once I started plot resetting there was no turning back, this led me to also do the campsite reset for my dreamies - um, thousands of hours later lol - takes a lot of time, and a lot of patience.
I use the pattern method to prevent them from moving into certain areas. But I don’t line them up perfectly or anything like that. In my second town, I plot reset to generally move them all to the right side of town.
Yes... I do. Plot resetting is my saving grace when it comes to putting villagers in my town. If I hadn't done so then I would have honestly quit playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf altogether. I mean... I am already frustrated with the grass deterioration feature as it is.
I literally just found out about the pattern method a few days ago. I wish I had known about that when I actually had my Animal Crossing: New Leaf town. I wasn?t really too into the dreamie game on my profile either, so I think my town will be better in the upcoming release for Switch. I would love this method. It?s a shame I was oblivious until now.
I don?t really do it because I have 4 characters but I do my own trick & lay patterns only on areas I don?t want villagers to move in. So far, I?m happy where everyone decided to live. Except Lyman who is blocking the bridge, but he?s an original villager & I won?t get rid of him. I basically let them move wherever because I want them scattered anyway & not all lined up.
