Plot resetting

Omg , i feel you but I'm used to doing it now .
if you invited the villager , their plot set is tomorrow soooo
TT as your mayor for tomorrow at 5:58AM (people do it at 5:55am but I'm impatient)
walk around , what i do it save at 5:59 am and wait for a min or two and go to Save New File
Go through all that stuff , ignore what Porter is saying , look around your town , see any plots of your new villager , if its in a bad spot , DO NOT SAVE OR ANYTHING , Press Home and close the game and just repeat the Save new File and yeah all that , after its in a good spot , talk to isabelle and all that , save , and go back and delete that file c:

TT as your mayor BUT Go to "Set Time" and put in new day but the time has to be 5:55-5:58 AM
Save at 5:59AM , wait for around 1-2 min on the main screen and then go to New File

Its a new day when its 6:00 Am
If you save after 6:00am , their spot is perm .

You invited them in then save and quit. Go to your DS Settings and TT a day then start Animal crossing again. Start on a new character afterwards and answer Rover questions then run around town looking for the plot of the villager. If you like the plot, go to isabelle and do the tutorial to save the game, if you dont exit the game by home menu and close the game and redo

This is what I do^^
No need to deal with time, just tt a day (like if it's 11/2 right now, then just tt to 11/3) and start as a new character, much easier that way than having to change the clock time as well, especially if you're like me and lose track of time to go somewhere and your 3ds is your main clock at the moment).
Walk around and if you like where the villager is placed, go through the steps of creating a new character like you did for your mayor. If you don't, then exit the game via home button and start over again.
