Plot Resetting Questions

I'm going through the joys of plot resetting once again and finding it hard not to give up ^^"

I was wondering :

1) Can a villager move in exactly where the previous move out had their house?

2) Can a villager move right next to my town plaza?

3) Is it truly random? They keep moving in the same three spots...

Any help is appreciated

2. 2 spaces over, so sort of?
3. Yes, but it can take a very long time (reports of 2-3 days of plot resetting have been made)

DAYS? That's no good, I don't have that much time. I'm meeting a friend tomorrow and will invite him to my town, so I have to be done by then >.< I'll keep resetting then! Thank you!

A friend of mine recommended this blog to me to try and break the pattern that the villager is moving in. If the villager you're plot resetting for is moving into the same few spots, try this guide and see if that helps!

I hope you can get them plotted quickly tho! Plot resetting is a big pain in the arse tbh

Haha I know the feeling. I'm plot resetting for flurry currently and she's being very stubborn today.
