Plot resetting question

I just got Ankha from someone's town and I want her in my town, like, right now. But it's rather early in the day and I want to be able to TT freely.

So, in simpler wording: Is there any way I can plot reset a villager before the day they are supposed to move in?

the only thing you can do is set the ds time a day forward. then plot reset. when they've plotted you can just set the time back to whatever day you were on.

But wouldn't plot resetting take place on a seperate account? Wouldn't me TTing to the next day make her set her plot up already, thus, making me unable to plot reset on a "new file"? How do you plot reset?

TT to 5:58am and then save and quite immediately. 6am is when a new day starts so you don't want your mayor to be in after that time otherwise you won't be able to plot reset. Once you've waited a few minutes so it's 6am, then plot reset with a new resident.

You can tt using the ds clock instead of setting the time using your mayor. then you would make a new character and wander around town until you find her. if you don't like the spot she's in, go ahead and close the game and make a new character again. if you do like the spot, then go talk to isabelle and place the home, then delete the character. once you get everything done with isabelle this will lock in Ankha's plot.
