So I've been plot resetting Lolly all day now (of course she still hasn't been put in the right spot yet >_>), and was wondering what would happen if I reached 6:00am for the new day. Right now it's 4:00am, so will she permanently be placed if it rolls over to 6:00am? Or am I safe to keep resetting even after it passed the new day as long as I don't go on my mayor? Sorry if that's confusing, I'm new to the whole plot resetting thing. \;-;/

You can keep plot resetting past 6AM. : D As long as you keep making new characters and don't log in with a mayor or other character, the plot will still spawn in random places around town.

I spent over a week on Wendy. D: But a large portion of that time was be at a convention, not actually playing Animal Crossing. Good luck plotting Lolly!
If you find you need to do something ingame with your mayor (put a PWP or cut down some trees or something) you can use the 3DS clock to change the date back to the same date you invited Lolly to move in. The ingame date is tied to the system date, and since you haven't saved since the day you invited her, it will be like no time passed. Just set the 3DS date back to current to resume plot resetting.
I'm currently having trouble getting Gala to go anywhere other than right behind my cafe. I was thinking maybe a PWP in that area would stop her from going there?
So I just want to clarify so I don't mess anything up. I invited her to my town yesterday (the 9th), so if I set the date of my DS to yesterday then her plot will not show up in my town, correct? And then I can place a PWP and go back to today (the 10th) and her plot will appear again and I can begin resetting again and hopefully get her to go where I want her to?
Sorry, I feel like I basically just rewrote what you wrote but I just want to be sure. I don't want something to happen where I lose Gala or have her accidentally placed somewhere I don't want her to be.
