so tomorrow I'm very busy and probably wont have enough time to get my new villager where I want it. how can I stop the time from reaching 6 am without logging into a character?

I know I have to use the 3ds clock but I'm not sure how that works

help??

Change the time NOW to the current date (day before plotting) and change it to 0605. The clock changes to the "next day" at 0600. SO, you need to save it with your mayor at like 0555 the "day before", but same actual date with Isabelle before entering your town. THEN, you can start with a new save file to find the plot. if it goes past 0600 on plotting day, CHANGE the date with Isabelle before loading your town, and you should be fine.

You do NOT have to use the 3DS clock, btw...only the game's clock/calendar. (trust me...I cycle...that would be a MAJOR pain!)

ahh im so confused

I thought if you logged in you would place the plot permanently regardless if you time travel back?

if this did work would that mean if a villager was moving out and you knew, that you could log in and change the time back one day?

Don't log in as your main character at all. You're much safer to use the 3DS clock rather than the in game one in my opinion, and it makes it very easy to just set the date back one day and go along as usual with a new character :)

Also with a new villager moving in they will always be a plot (not a set house) indefinitely until you save with your Mayor/New Character, so it doesn't matter if you can't log in tomorrow, the next day they will still be just a plot. Good luck with plotting your new villager and if you have any questions or want me to explain something further feel free to contact me :)

Just create a new villager on the day there'll be a plot. Then keep plot resetting until you find a nice spot..
But if you run out of time and can't keep plot resetting, just come back the next day and keep trying.
As long as you don't load up your mayor at all you're good; if necessary, you can literally plot reset for weeks until you find the spot you want. So time shouldn't be an issue.

Not sure if that helps, but good luck with the plot resetting ^^

I can confirm this. And it`s easier with the 3DS clock. Just don`t log in with your mayor. About what part you are uncertain?
