Hi, I've plot resetted many times successfully, but this time its just not working. I have a villager house continuously plotting in the same spot even though I have not loaded my main character at all and have been doing a new save file every time. Has anyone had this problem??

yes that happened to me once. how many players do you have made? id recommend rewinding back and if you have two spare player slots, place a house where that villager keeps going to to break them out of that cycle. they keep going there simply because its the most appealing place to plot, and where a villager goes isnt just rng- they usually try to go where theres more space. if you dont have two spare player slots then go back and place a pwp where they keep trying to plot. just break the cycle of going there and you might have more luck.

you go back in time before they plotted, place the house, then go forward again and plot reset. use the 3DS timer to change the time so you dont have to get on your mayor to change the time. if you go back the day before they started plotting, they will still be in queue to move in the next day, and you can go back to plotting once you tt to the next day. just make sure you use the 3ds clock to tt, not the acnl clock!
Unfortunately my town is new and I don't have my mayor permit to do pwps yet *facepalm* AND when I was plot resetting yesterday for a different villager I tried to build my side character's house in this EXACT spot where this new villager is plotting (way out of the way next to the side of a mountain) and couldn't build because it was "too close to the river" and wouldn't be enough room for future expansion. Ugh just my luck lollll wow.

I hate it when they do that! I've had it happen quite a few times while plot resetting, so I know how uggy it is. What sometimes helps is to completely turn off your 3 DS because that will often cause the incoming villager to choose new spots for their house.

I was just resetting for Ankha - wanted her next to Lucky. Well, on 45th attempt she finally moved in the area I wanted her to. It's not 100% perfect but I can't be asked to do that anymore. She's close enough.
