plot reset emergency! (need help quick)

alright so ive plot reset before so i know how it goes, but im slightly worried.
basically, yesterday evening i grabbed a dreamie from another town and they told me they'll be moving in and stuff. however, accidentally i left my game in suspended mode all night and in the morning i flipped open my ds to see that the game is suspended. i did not click to resume it knowing that'll jeopardize the plot resetting. so i decided, though i'll be loosing work i did, to end the software.

right now im plot resetting and marina's spot is not moving each time i reset. i even turned the device off. did leaving my game in suspended mode ruin the plot resetting process? is she now stuck in that plot? argh im so confused and worried. if anyone knows please let me know. i dont wanna waste my time resetting if the plot is definite :c

it's definite because even if you don't save if your mayor has loaded past 6 am it won't matter it still saves plots

I think because it loaded a new day she's in that spot to stay. You should've jut saved the day before and started plot resetting today.

holy crap. thank jesus her plot just moved im screamING thank u guys for your info. i guess it didnt make it definite bc i never resumed and the time didnt adjust? idek im so happy ; w ;

ive just been resetting for over an hour and i started to get a bit worried when the plot didnt change.
