how the heck do you guys have the patience to do this lol?! 2 hours in and i'm pretty tired of it

lol me toooo! i do plot reset, but i just don't have time to get villagers in a spECIFIC, perfect spot, so i leave big 5 x 5 or 6 x 6 sections open for them to plot anywhere they want within there...

good luck with it!! i always get tired and salty when i'm a while into plot resetting- but trust me!! you'll feel so good when it's finally over and you get to see that lovely house placement in your town forever more!!

I get you. Idon't plot reset specifically anymore, just so long as they avoid certain areas. But then again, I mostly don't keep permanent dreamies!

Don't forget to do something else while you're plot resetting! Putting on a rerun of a favourite show really helps pass the time...

thanks guys, I managed to finally finish laying down my paths and it worked T o T although I started becoming picky about the villagers that were moving in lol...reset maybe 4-5 times before I settled on savannah

so, question: I thought villagers needed at least 2 spaces on all sides when plotting?! so why did vivian plot just one space away from the train tracks?! ARGH and to think i had covered everything I could with paths already, so frustrating!

I literally covered my ENTIRE stupid town with paths and just left open the space I needed them to move to. It was super freaking tedious but it proved to be quicker than plot resetting for me

I covered most spaces so that there wouldn't be any 3x3 plots where I didn't want them to be, but not every single one because lord knows I can't put up with that lol

but I guess it was on my bad that I thought villagers needed 2 spaces width on each side of their house, when in actuality they only need one. at least vivian didn't plot in that much of an obnoxious spot, and I can fit another plot next to her so she's not all isolated in the corner of the map because her dumb butt decided to plot ontop of the flowers next to my bulletin board.

Honestly, I would've done it the way you did it as well but I didn't even think of that until after I covered every single space. Boy do I regret the amount of time I spent on that xD. But at least she didn't plot in a super horrible spot. Nothing's worse than when a villager does exactly what you didn't want them to do and then you have to cycle for them again (unless you have the cards of course)

I hear ya. -looks at Fauna- she plotted RIGHT in front of my town hall and I'm gonna have to cycle her out and in again when some of the cards I ordered off ebay get to me q_q

Bob is moving in tomorrow so I just spent my entire life placing patterns, I swear if he did what Cookie did and just go wherever, I'm gonna lose it. It was my fault though, somehow I messed up plot resetting?? Tough stuff man

I honestly cant do plot reset to hard, to much time I cant place paths everywhere except where i want their houses unless they make path placing EASIER like drag onto the grid as someone had an idea for it

I filled out Most of my town with patterns, leaving some spaces where I wanted a villager to move in but I plot resetted Raddle wrong , accidentally opening my mayor file, and he moved into an area I didn't realize had a free 3x3 space...

...and I actually like where he decided to place his house! Oh man, I'm so happy the little frog didn't fail me.
