Im down to help and look in a bit a fountain would look. Nice along with a floral archway and garden in front of your town hall.

You can go to retail and there are flowers and plants for sale. I would recommend building a fountain and then two benches.

ooh...yeah...the floral archway...that's a good idea...maybe in front of the townhall...then the fountain in front of it?
is that what you meant?

First of all, do you have a theme in mind? Like a forest theme, or flower garden theme? I think having a lot of white flowers would suit your town since I lot of your villagers are white and maybe some pink hybrids :^)

i'm not sure if you'd visited but the flowers i have around the villagers match their house exterior...
i love carnations....maybe white and pink carnations?....and a garden theme....just lining up flowers all over town? how about the trees? i was thinking in having only my native perfect fruit and money trees....i have tons of jacob ladders too...any thoughts?

I think you should put a zen garden with zen streetlights on both the left and right sides in front of your town hall.

May I come to your town so we can check together what would be possible to do ?

I wouldn't say I'm an expert of town design but I'm definitely not a beginner neither.

yes...that will be great...i'll be playing this weekend...will pm you when i'm online...thanks again

I put a fountain in front of my town hall traditionally. It's a pretty safe bet and always looks nice.

Alternative options depend on what kind of town theme you are trying to maintain. For me the pwp has to be exactly in the middle when in front of the townhall, so that just leaves me the pwp's with an uneven amount of square length. As the town hall is 5 squares long.

You could do something with two water statues, topiaries, flower/illuminous clocks, other pwp's that light up in the dark, you can even put arches in front of it. Whatever floats your boat really.

i have a zen clock on the left side of the townhall ...so i'm trying out zen garden in front of town hall...i like the idea of topiaries..wait..is there a zen bridge?

That's the best I can do. I need to see your town to show all placements..

with the villagers you have, you could make a fairy-tale themed town with lots of white and pink flowers! because your town isn't aligned like many others, i think a dirt path surrounded by flowers would look best, since tiled paths are really difficult to make (and to put down without looking blocky and disorganized.) plus dirt paths are more flexible.

yeah...i was going to do that reset plotting but i have all 10 dreamies lol...i have to cycle 16 to get them back sigh...lol
i need to google a dirt path...can't find any good ones though...thanks for your input AzeleaKid

I'm taking a nap in a moment and let you know what I think.
In the meantime, catch some z's yourself and maybe you'll find that spark of inspiration seeing what someone else did in there town.

hint hint ;)

And as to villager layout, I kinda disapprove of plot resetting and you already have your dreamies, and that would be a LOT of work getting them back just to get them into different spots.

Things I would do
-move the geyser south of the police station to where the trash bin is now, and just ditch the bin
-drop the fire hydrant; clashes so bad with the zen city hall
-wind turbine near the cliff in front of where the geyser is now

-stone tablet in place of the single tile in the middle of the pattern lake next to minato's house, or move the totem pole there

-move the totem pole and remove the geyser next to it
-get rid of the geyser south of Luna's house

-trees instead of the flower pot patterns near the train station or place a flower clock there

-there is just so much path! it feels like you went overboard with paths. plain grass and freestanding trees and bamboo can be nice too. places like near the Tower just feel...claustrophobic?
OK6CiG9.jpg

-think about creating pseudo-paths using flowers, trees, and bushes like I did here around your zen garden(might actually do this with it).

-or move the zen garden to the patch with the river just south of the zen bell and fountain statue.

-think about planting some bamboo between the sphinx and police station, and just letting it go wild.
-I want to say a hot spring and fire pit would be nice somewhere, but I'm not sure where.
