Please help

I'm almost sure my copy of ACNL is broken. I loaded my file as normal and it's now like I'm walking underground. Everything's buried (All buildings are below the grass/dirt), I'm phasing through the river, lake, stone, etc.), I'm walking on water, and I'm partially buried under the sand at the beach. Also, all the items, flowers, trees, etc. are below the ground they are supposed to be on. What do I do?
