Please help with my house placement!

Thanks to the help of the users below I've decided to keep the map below but now I need help with house placement!
Here is the map:

Places I was thinking:
~In the little bubble on the left hand side of the south facing waterfall
~On the right hand side of the south facing waterfall
~Top left by Re-Tail
or
~In that space under the plaza and town hall by the river

I like the map. Wandering rivers have great design potential. Retail is close to the train station - that is nice only if you do trading here on the boards. I always like the Retail pond facing away from the train station.

Oh and that beach ramp is my favorite!

But it's up to you. I do like that map.

I deleted my last town a while back and have been plot resetting for like the last week or so, I found a map but I don't know if I like it or not, so I was looking for some friendly advice!

Here is the map:

The only bad things are that the train station is green and the native fruit is pears, however it is possible to get rid of the pears and replace them.
So I don't know whether to keep it or not, I've been plot resetting for a while now and I've never had this sort of map before.
Anyway, sorry for going on but thank you for reading this!
Your ideas would be appreciated!

That's a really nice map! I love the little beach you can only get to by using a wet suit - I've never seen one that's south-facing or that big before! I also like the river and the ramp near the boat!

This is where I was originally thinking! Thank you for your help

I chose to have my mayor's house near Re-Tail and in the northern area of my town, so it would be easy to get to the shops.

But I think a house in the bubble next to the waterfall sounds nice!

I'd put it on the right underneath the plaza, that way you have more room to decorate around your house etc.
